Erikas perspective

I had to admit, I was having fun - a lot of fun. Ethan was a hole other person and I loved it. Him being open about who he really was, made everything way better and I felt closer to him!
Plus, we were so far away from Shawn, that I did not have to care about him staring at me or not - I could focus on having a boom ass time with Ethan!
The visions for his show was so stunning, and had me so mesmerized, that I did not even notice Shawn had left stage, to enter the one right in front of us. I did not notice before the audience, around us went crazy and way louder than before.

He was so gorgeous, he truly was.

It was the alcohol that made me admit it, but even sober I knew he was gorgeous.
I tried so hard to look him straight in the eyes, but it was so hard and time after time he caught me - Shawn kept staring at me. Currently he was singing a song called Roses and it was so beautiful, yet I couldn't help but feel some sort of guild - I knew I never left him because of someone else, but it still felt like every single word was written directly to me.

"Ethan, we're not going to the after party!"

"Erika, come on - there's gonna be lost of famous people there!"

"I don't care, we can have fun without the famous people!"

"You don't have to talk to him, but personally I wanna go - so we're going!" Before I could do or say anything, Ethan had given the taxi driver the address and we were one our way to Shawn Mendes' after party - I would rather be in my dorm room, all by myself right now!
When we finally got up to the very last floor and found his apartment, I realized how far he had come within only a year! Even weirder was it for me, that he did not live with his parents, nor sister anymore but all by him self. What also was really weird for me, was to see him with another girl - I did not blame her, she was way prettier than me.

"Erika?" I turned around by the sound of someone calling my name, and my heart dropped. I had honestly missed her more than anyone else.

"Karen?!" I said even though, I knew it was her. She grabbed me by the shoulders so quickly and pulled me into a hug. I had missed everything about her! The way she smelled, her British accent and even her bangs.

"How are you?" I tried to ask her, but the music was too loud - it was impossible for her to hear me. We walked outside and sat down.

"How are you?" I asked once again.

"I am good, despised Shawn moved out right after you went home," said answered. I tried to keep an unbothered face expression, but obviously I couldn't help but feel guilty once again.

"But, let's not talk about me - why are you back in Toronto?" She asked and pulled me back to our conversation.

"I'm studying," I answered. She didn't say anything, but the way she looked at me, was enough for me to know that she waited for me to tell her more.

"I'm studying music, but I don't really know what I want to do with it - I just knew I wanted to be back in Toronto and play music every..." a tall male figure interrupted me - Shawn.

"Mom, can I talk to you?" He asked and hadn't noticed me.

"Are you not going to say hi to, Erika?" She asked with confusion in her voice. He looked at me with a soft look, before pulling me into a very quick hug.

"Did you enjoy the concert?" He asked, as if that was the only thing he could come up with, like nothing ever happened between us or like he didn't even know me at all, and just got introduce to me.

"I did yeah," I smiled and was just as strange as Shawn was.

"I'm glad, now if you'll excuse us?" He asked polity, once again in away that made me feel so distant from him. Like a complete stranger.

"Of course, it was so good to see you again, Karen," I said with sincere in my voice and pulled her into a hug. Shawn's behavior confirmed to me, that Karen was my favorite Mendes - at least between those two.

-

Ethan and I was dancing our hearts out, mostly because of the vodka and many mixed drinks, I had poured down in the past 3 hours.
I hadn't seen Shawn since he needed to talked to Karen, nor seen his girlfriend since she eyed me pretty badly at the concert.
Gold digger came on which made Ethan and I go kind of wild. We did not care nor mess with anyone else besides ourself. I enjoy his company and was so glad that I had him, and that he forced me to come here. Not because of Shawn, but because I did not realize how much I needed to let lose.

"She walks around looking Michael with your money," I screamed and stubbled back into someone. I turned around and faced a redhead, whom looked way too familiar.

"Erika, hi!" He said and I had to stare a few seconds more before I could tell who it was.

"Brian!!!" I yelled and hugged him, even though I'd never talked nor been very close with him - I had just missed a familiar face.
He pulled me away from the drunk and loud crowed, including Ethan. Brian walked me over to a coach, and started to ask a lot of questions. It wasn't because I did not want to listen nor talk to him, but my head had come to a point, where the alcohol kicked in for the 9573829. Time, but this time it made it really heavy and tired.

"I'll take it from here, Brian - let's get you in bed, Erika," a soft voice said, seconds before I fell asleep in his arms.
