Erika's perspective
"Can I play some?" I asked, since Shawn had been playing a bunch of songs I had no idea excited.
"Sure," he handed me his phone, "the code is 0823."
"Why?" I laughed a bit, cause the numbers didn't create any sentence.
"That's when I saw you at the airport in Toronto," he gave me a little smile and stroke my inner thigh once again. I blushed slightly and leaned over to kiss his cheek quickly. After I had unlocked his iPhone and found Spotify, I searched for Scarlet Pleasure and played one of their many bangers, Good Together. Shawn had no idea about who they were, yet he was still jamming out!
"Ahh the bass is sick! Who are they?"
"Scarlet Pleasure," I smiled of the thought that he actually liked them.
"Can you follow them? They sound dope!" and started to drum on his steering wheel, along to their song Limbo.

"We're here," Shawn said and gave me a small smile.
The amount of times he always smiled.
"We're in the middle of nowhere?"
"Exactly," Shawn got out of the car, and ran to my side, only so he could lift me out, once again. For some reason this was how I pictured the coast of Ireland to look like. It did not feel like we where in Canada, nor only 3 hours away from Toronto.
"It's beautiful here!" I said in awe and just started to walk.
"Hey wait up," I turned around while I kept walking, "right you're here as well," I joked and made him roll his eyes a little. Shawn ran up to me and grabbed my hand. I loved this, no people here besides us and just me and him. It was like we were the only ones on planet earth at the moment.
"Thank you for taking me out here, I needed it," I smiled and kissed the same hand, Shawn was holding mine with.
"What do you mean, you needed it?"
"It's just nice, to be away from everyone and everything. For some reason, life has turned into people just wanting to outdo everyone. I get that you wanna grow as a person, but it's just stressing me out, that everyone has to be rich now days," I paused to look at him, Shawn was still paying attention to me, even though I was probably just rambling - God what did I do to deserve him? "If that even makes any sense at all?"
"I think I get it, kinda," Shawn smiled and pressed his lips against my forehead.
"Let's go," I smiled and pulled him with me to the shore. We were on a cliff and then the ocean and the beach was below us, so we had to find a staircase or something. It ended up with we had to walk for quite a long time, before we made it down to the shore. All this time, Shawn did not let go of my hand, not even once. I finally felt whole! And it finally felt like the both of us, was in a place where we could before give us a 110% to each other.
"So, what are you suppose to be learning from Charlie this week?" Shawn asked and tried to seem interested in my college, even though I knew he was not very happy about Charlie being there, for God knows what reason.
"He's going to help us train our ear, and give us some techniques how to train it everyday, without even really do anything," I answered and kept an eye on a seagull. I felt him nod, but shortly after Shawn stopped and stared at me.
"Why aren't you in school today? It's Monday."
"I skipped..."
"E, you can't do that, you have to be..."
"I was joking," I giggled, "we have a off day, since we had to be there yesterday," I smiled at him and made him roll his eyes, before he pulled me in.
"Such a tease!" I didn't say anything but smiled at him. Shawn picked my cheek softly, yet still quick. Shortly after I leaned my head against his arm and shoulder, while we just kept walking down the beach. I was still so amazed that it was completely empty! No people here at all, just the two of us.

The only thing that lit up, was all the lights from all the cars and the instruments in Shawn's massive car. We drove under a sign on the highway telling us, there was 12 miles into Toronto Centrum.
"I wanna play you something," I calmly said.
"Alright, go ahead," Shawn said and grabbed his phone, so he could hand it to me. It didn't take me long to search up Phlake and put on The Rascal. Although I didn't really miss Denmark at all, listing to danish artistes made me feel complete, as strange as that sounds. Why would I even feel the need to listen, in order to be complete if I didn't miss Denmark? Yeah, I don't even know myself, but that's what I felt and needed.
"Who are they?" Shawn asked and turned right.
"A due called Phlake, they're danish," I explained.
"Ahh, do you miss it?"
"Denmark?"
"Yeah, you're a long way from family, friends and where you grew up," Shawn softly said and slowed down, because of traffic lights.
"I know, but no not really. I like it here, that's why I came back you know. Because Toronto felt more like home, everyday that past after I got back to Denmark. Sure Toronto will never make me feel the same way, Copenhagen ever could, but yeah I don't know," my answer was a mess, so was my thoughts about Toronto and Copenhagen, it was so strange.
Shawn drove into the parking spot beneath the building he lived in, and parked in the spot that belonged to him."Maybe it isn't Toronto, but you that makes it feel more like home," I mumbled, but loud enough for him to hear me. Shawn smiled a smile, as if he felt bad for me. He got out of the car and onto my side, only so he could stand between my legs and press his soft pink lips, against mine.
"I may not want to admit it to myself at first, but i didn't go a day without missing you," I mumbled once again and pulled him into a tight hug.
