Clear

As I began to wake, I felt an unfamiliar warmth at my back. As I tried to move, a weight round my middle pulled me closer. I turned my head and gasped as I saw Jimin, still in bed with me. I flushed. I could feel him shifting next to me so I closed my eyes, and pretended to be asleep. He got up, and walked over to the kitchen area.

After a few minutes, I deemed it safe to 'wake up' and pushed myself onto my elbows.

'Morning' I said

'Morning y/n' he replied with a yawn.

After breakfast, it was decided Jin would help me clear out the blue, and and reduce the symptoms of my magic deficiency, and that we would show Jimin and Namjoon how we did it. I picked a crumbly piece of chalk from the back of the cupboard and dragged my chair into the middle of the room. I drew a circle about a two metres in diameter around my chair, and Jin got started on the bigger ccircle outside mine, and the more intricate sections of the magic ring. I looked up at Jimin. He looked nervous, it was his first time seeing this process. I tried to smile reassuringly, but he didn't respond. As Jin finished the left side, I sat down on the chair.

'No moving now y/n, or you'll break the circle.' He said. I nodded. He knew I knew what to do, but there were still risks, particularly with the others watching, making us mervous. He tapped on the circle I drew up, and it began to glow a warm shade of pink. A grin flickered across my face. He was the only magician I knew with pink magic. I wouldn't be able to leave the circle now, the magic would create a physical boundary. Soon, he has finished the rest of the circle.
Jin turned to Jimin and Namjoon. 'Whatever happens, don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks.' They both frowned at me.

'It's ok,' I began to explain, 'It just looks a bit violent is all.' They nodded mutely.

'Ready?' Jin asked. I gave him a nod, and braced myself for the worst of the pain.

The first wave of hit, nothing bad, just a twinge of pain in my chest. Then the second hit harder, and I bit down on my tongue, trying not to let out a sound. A third and My tongue began to taste of copper. I could feel my control over my body slipping, as my body begins to spasm. A fresh bolt of pain tears through me, and my body began to give out. I slid from my chair, and began to sob. I wish I'd pass out sooner; it's already unbearable. My face was pressed up against the invisible barrier. I could sort of make out Jimin and Namjoon, but with each passing moment they grew blurier, until I lost consciousness and my mind was overrun with static.

My body burned as I woke up, and my limbs felt like they were made of lead. I  opened my eyes slightly, blinking as I adjusted to the light. Hissing, I pushed my self to a seated position, only to get pushed back down onto the mattress. Judging by the blackened corner, it was Jin and Namjoon's.

'No moving until I'm certain you're ok.' I heard Jin say above me.

'I'm fine.' I croaked. My throat felt raw, I must've been screaming a lot after I lost consciousness.

'Tell that to your throat.' He quipped, 'And I expect your limbs ache too.'

'Do you have any water?' I asked, ignoring his comment.

'Don't drink it all at once.' Jin instructed, as he handed me a chipped glass. I took a sip, and as I swallowed, it felt like my throat was cracking. I took another, and the pain began to subside slightly. I looked at my fingers as I held the glass. They were completely back to normal, even under the nails; they hadn't been that clear for months. I tilted my head up to Jin and gave him a thumbs up in the air, putting the glass down.

'Good job' I squeaked. I felt a hand place itself over mine. Jimin had been sat next to me. I'd been completely oblivious. 'Hello Jiminie' I said with a smile.

'I'm glad your okay' he said with a laugh.

'Me too' I replied.

'You look like death.' He said  jokingly.

'Thanks' I said sarcastically.

'Just don't let it get that bad again.' He said seriously. He gave my hand a squeeze. 'I hate seeing you hurt.' I lay quietly. I'd never realised I worried him. I looked up at him. The features on his face were laced with concern, as he looked down at me.

'I'm sorry' I murmured.

'Please let me know when you need help.' He said softly. I nodded, and he brushed a strand of hair from my face. Then someone cleared their throat behind us. I looked away from Jimin. Jin was still sitting next to us, looking somewhat embarrassed. Jimin scratched his ear.

'I think it'll be safe to heal you up a bit in a few hours' Jin said. 'But I don't want to rush things and do any damage by over exposing you to magic in such a short time.' I nodded. Given that it had been so long since I'd used magic, being exposed to a lot in one go could be unpredictable, and none of us were trained healers, not even Jin.

'When do we go see CL?' I asked. I was desperate to find V. Even if he wasn't my brother, he would at least be a lead, a direction to look in. He might even know Tae.

'We'll see her once you can walk unaided.' Jin said. I groaned. It would take at least a couple of hours for the pain in my limbs to die down to a manageable level for walking on. Never mind, I'll just have to wait.
