I squirmed as Jin probed the back of my head with his fingers. He pushed past my hair, and poked at the scalp. I yelped as he hit a tender patch, and a popping sound came from the end of my left index finger.
'Sorry.' He apologised. He parted the hair and took a closer look. 'You're bruised. Shall I fix it?' He asked.
'I'ts ok. So long as we look out for a concussion.' I said. 'Ouch!' I gasped, gripping Jimin's hand tighter as Jin accidentally knocked the back of my head. 'You're taking after Joon.'
'Sorry.' He said again. 'I need to get to your back now.' He added. I nodded, and slid forwards on my stool. My knees brushed against Jimin's, who was sat in front of me. I lifted the back of my t shirt up, revealing a long and jagged scar. I winced as Jin pressed it gently. 'How's that?' He asked.
'Sore.' I said. Jimin rubbed my fingers reassuringly.
'You're doing great.' He told me.
'I'm assuming it doesn't normally hurt.' Jin said
'Yeah, not since the operation.' I said. Jin snorted behind me.
'I'd hardly call it an operation, it looks more like they hacked you open with a knife.' He said. 'I can numb it, but I don't think it's something I'm up to healing.' He admitted guiltily.
'That's ok, it ought to sort itself out eventually.' I suggested.
'Yeah, I'm just worried that there might be some damage.' He said.
'I'll be fi- Ouch!' I squeaked as Jin pressed on my back.
'Don't tell me you'll be fine, if it goes wrong you come to me first, ok?' He demanded.
'Alright.' I agreed. I let out a gasp as an icy sensation flowed down my back, numbing it.
'And tell me too.' Jimin chipped in. 'If I can help, I will too.'
'Yep.' I said rolling my top back down. I kissed the tips of Jimin's fingers and let go of his hand. 'Thanks Jin' I said as I got to my feet.
'No problem.' He said, giving me a quick hug. He stepped back as he heard a loud crash from upstairs, and groaned. 'I'll be off then.' He muttered, walking out. I chuckled. Jimin cleared his throat behind me.
'What?' I said turning round. He looked at me pointedly. 'What do you want?' I questioned, trying to fight the smile that was spreading across my face.
'My turn.' He said.
'Huh?'
'I want a hug too.' He demanded. I walked over and wrapped my arms around him, and he wrapped me up in his arms, holding me to his chest. He held me for a few seconds, then leant back and grinned. He peppered my face with light kisses, across both cheeks and my forehead. I giggled as he landed one on my nose. I stood on my tiptoes, trying to kiss his nose back, but he interrupted me by catching my lips with his. He kissed me gently, tilting my chin up with one hand, before placing it on the small of my back. He pulled back.
'I'm so proud of you.' He murmured, his breath mingling with mine. 'So proud.'
