I never really thought I'd miss the spiderweb, but twelve hours later, I was completely bored. I was also completely alone. Namjoon had decided to make sure the area was totally secure, Jin had followed Namjoon, Yoongi had some business to sort, Jimin had offered to show Hoseok around, and Tae had grabbed Jungkook and gone off very panicked, after checking the date for the second time this week.
Honestly I was getting a little worried about Tae. He said it was nothing important, but something is really setting him on edge. On the bright side, he seems to be getting on better with Jungkook after he carried me home, so the house was quieter.
Then there was me. Jin had wrapped my foot in bandages and decided to leave it, so the most I could do was shuffle or hop around home. I'd tried not to be nosy, but Jungkook had left his bag behind, and I was still irritated that he wasn't telling me what he was working on.
I looked inside his bag. It was surprisingly empty. It seemed fairly generic, with some medical supplies and a packet of tissues, but other than that, I couldn't see anything. I put it down, and zipped it back up. He'd probably kept anything interesting on him. I turned to the papers he'd been reading through next. He'd scribbled a lot in the margins, about magic users, disappeared magicians. Before I could make any head way, I heard a bang above our ceiling.
I stared up as the sound continued. I swallowed as I realised the sound was coming directly from the trapdoor. Was someone trying to break in? I hopped to my rucksack on the other side of the room and ripped it open. I looked through and panicked; I'd used my ice potion to save Tae.
I span around, raking a hand through my hair. I scanned the room for a hiding spot.
I limped over to my mattress and shoved it against the wall. Using the wall for support, I sat down wincing as my bad leg slid against the floor. I slid the mattress over my body, pulling the sheets over my head. I lay flat. I could no longer see anything. All I could hear was the bang of something striking the trapdoor.
I flinched, as I heard the door splinter. A pair of heavy boots made their way down the ladder. I took in a deep breath, trying to be quiet. The boots made their way round the room. My heartbeat quickened as they drew closer. I shut my eyes tight as the boots came to a halt right by my head. I held my breath.
He began to walk away.
'No one home boss.' A heavy voice drawled. 'Alright. Want me to wait?' He asked.
Was he a telepath? I shifted my arm slightly closer to my body.
'Want me to torch the place?'
Oh god.
'Fine, I'll leave the place how I found it.' He growled. I almost let out a sigh of relief. He walked away, and back up the ladder. I didn't dare move. If he came back, I wouldn't last a minute. I began to shiver, as though my body were releasing the pent up tension.
I froze again as I heard someone approach the trapdoor.
'Y/n?' I heard a familiar voice shout out. I heard someone clatter down the ladder.
'Y/n?' I heard Jimin call out in a shaky voice.
'Jimin!' I cried out, and I struggled out from beneath the mattress. Hoseok clambered down after.
'The door was open, what happened? Why are you here?.' He asked scared.
'Someone broke in.' I said, as he helped me to my feet. 'I had to hide. I think he was after all of us.' I said shakily. Jimin stepped towards me and gave me a tight hug.
'I saw the trapdoor had been broken and I thought...' He ran out of words to say and shook his head. 'I don't want to lose you.' He said quietly.
'I'm not going anywhere.' I reassured him. Hoseok walked over to us.
'You're both lucky you're still alive.' He said. I nodded. 'On the sunny side, the guy wasn't a thief.' He added. 'Although they wouldn't have stolen much.' I laughed despite myself.
'I think they're more likely to give us something at the sorry state of this house.' I said joining in. 'We could do with a sofa. What do you think Jimin?'
'I think we need beds first.' He decided. I sniffed lightly and hopped over to the back wall, with Jimin following me nervously in case I fell.
'The beds can go here and here.' I said gesturing either side of me. 'And the sofa can go somewhere there.' I said pointing in front of me.
'We'd need new mattresses too.' Jimin added.
'What happened to yours?' Hoseok asked. I bit my lip, turning pink.
'Namjoon and Jin had sex on ours, and Namjoon accidently set it on fire.' Jimin explained quickly. Hoseok's face dropped.
'On your bed?' He said appalled. I hummed in response. 'They need holy water.' He joked.
We all looked up as we heard some shouts above us. Tae stuck a panicked head through the open trapdoor. 'What the hell happened?' He asked climbing down. Jungkook jumped in after amd we quickly explained. 'Are you ok?' Tae asked.
'Yeah, I hid.' I told him.
Pretty soon we were all gathered together.
'It"s not safe to stay here any longer.' Jin said lowly.
'You could stay with me.' Hoseok offered. 'I could do with the company.' He added. I looked up at Jin and Namjoon. They both nodded.
'That would be great.' Namjoon accepted. 'Are Jungkook and Yoongi also welcome?' He asked.
'I won't stay.' Yoongi said. 'Got stuff to do.'
'Jungkook's welcome to stay.' Hoseok said. I smiled at his generosity.
'That would be good. I haven't had anywhere secure to work from in a while.' He said.

I took one last look at the house. Honestly, it was a shame to leave. I'd grown to love that little hole in the ground. Maybe one day we could go back. I stared for a while, trying to burn it into my memory, then I turned my back, and hopped as fast as I could to catch up with the rest.

I feel kinda sad now. I'd gotten pretty attached to that little room/ house/ underground hideout.
