Elsa's POV
After I finished my lunch, I decided to find a book to read. I am still young and not very good at reading yet so I had to pick a book with plenty of pictures!
I went over to the shelf and began searching for a good book. I didn't want a really big book, but I wanted a challenge. I saw a good sized book, skimmed through it, and decided to read it. I read the title "The Guardians" and began to read.
The books first page gave a description of each guardian. The first was Santa! He was the guardian of wonder. The second was the Easter Bunny, he was the guardian of hope.
The third was the tooth fairy. The tooth fairy was the guardian of memory, the book says that the teeth collected from each child held their most important memories. The fourth guardian was the sandman. As expected he is the guardian of dreams.
I was surprised when I turned the page, I thought there was only 4 guardians. on the second page was a picture of a boyish figure with Snow White hair, deep blue eyes, pale skin, a blue hoodie, brown trousers that reached his shins, and a wooden staff in his hand. Beside the picture was a description titled "Jack Frost". He was the guardian of fun and had power over ice and snow. Wait! He controls WHAT?! Ice and snow? I control ice and snow! I can't believe I'm not alone in this world!
I feel a little better knowing I am not the only one with this curse. I continue reading. The next page describes the guardians enemy Pitch Black, The Boogeyman. He strikes fear into others and knows your worst fears. I remember what the troll told me : " Fear will be your enemy." I continue reading of the guardians adventures until dark.
When I finish the book I realize it is probably late. I replace the book on the shelf and prep my self for bed. Then I climb under the covers drifting off to sleep. The last image on my mind was: Jack Frost.
