My Understandings. (Of Mice and Men love story.)

Almost there.

It was probably about 2 in the morning when I felt someone climb onto of me. I opened my eyes and saw Shayley's eyes staring back at me. "Shay-" I started

"Sh.. Dont move." He said. He slowly kissed my lips, and I kissed back.

I felt his hand creep up my back. I tugged on his shirt. His tongue poked at my bottom lip for entrance. Our tongues did the tango. He fell next to me. I cuddled into his arm and fell asleep. I woke up and Shayley was gone. I sighed knowing we would get in trouble if anyone found us in the same bunk together. I tied my hair up in a pony tail and got up feeling alone.

We stopped at McDonalds. Of course i didn't get anything because most of it is meat and im a vegetarian, so I just stayed in my bunk.

Pretty soon the curtain swung open. I saw Shayley standing there with two sodas. "Thirsty?" He asked smiling.

I couldn't help but smile when I was around him. "Sure." I said taking the soda from his hand. He climbed into my bunk with me.

"So last night." Shayley started. "That ment something right?" I looked down. "I was hoping it did."

He put his fingers tips on my chin and lifted my head up. "Trust me. It did." He said. He smacked his lips against mine. My eyes slowly closed. "Awkward..." We heard Austin say. Shayley jumped, and left my lips. "Oh.. Hi Austin." Shayley said.

"Mhm, hello to you too Shayley." He smirked then closed the curtains. He laughed nervously. "Where were we?"

He put his hand on my neck and kissed me again. I kissed back, feeling his lip ring on my lip.

"You're perfect." He whispered. I looked up into his eyes. "Im not though." I whispered back.

All of a sudden we heard people start piling into the bus. "Shit." He muttered. As he was about to leave I grabbed his arm. "Stay.. Please?" He smiled then closed the curtain. "WAIT I WILL BE RIGHT BACK." He said hopping off my bunk.

Soon enough he came back with a couple of movies in his hands. My jaw dropped when he showed me what movies they were.

"Grease, and dirty dancing." I smiled. He grabbed my laptop and put Grease in. I ended up falling asleep in Shay's arms.

When Shayley woke me up the bus was stopped infront of a resturaunt. "Wake up Abby." He said gentaly running his fingers through my hair. "What?" I said rubbing my eyes. "You haven't eaten in like 2 days. Lets go eat." He said. "Ok."

We climbed out of my bunk. "Get it Shay." One of the guys that saw him helping me down said. "Shut up." My foot got caught in the crack of the matress and the bunk itself. I fell onto Shayley. His hand was on my lower back. "You ok?" He laughed. I got off of him. "Yeah sorry." I smiled. I put my toms and sweatshirt on and we went outside. "WHAT DOSE EVERYONE WANT!?" Mr. Johnson yelled.

So far there was

12 Burgers.

 2 Salads (Gielle and I)

3 Fries.

and 28 sodas. (Not everyone got food. Most just got a drink.)

Ronnie was calling me. "Hey Ronnie." I said taking a sip of the water I ordered. "Hey Abbs. Are you there yet?" He asked.

"Not yet, we stopped to eat. I dont know where we are." I said.

"Okay, tell me when you get there okay?" He said in his brothering tone.

"Okay love you. Bye." I said hanging up.

I guess Shayley heard me say "I love you" to Ronnie. "Parents?" he asked.

"Ah no. Actually my cousin Ronnie." I said. He hesitated.

"Ronnie."

I sighed. "Yes. I know what you're thinking. Thats him." I said. I looked over at him looking compleatly stunned. "Wow." I smiled at him. "Yeah hes like my brother." I said. He smiled.

After dinner we all stood outside so the people who smoked could get their needs out of the way. I stood by Shayley shaking. "Come on now." Austin said walking by.

He pushed me into Shayley's body then wraped Shayley's arm around me. "There." He laughed then walked away with Gielle.

I felt Shayley hug me tighter. I put my head into his warm chest. "This is nice." He said. "You're warm." I said wrapping my arms around him. "Abigail you're so short." He said ptting his chin on my head. I laughed. "You're short too!" I said.

"Thats what makes us perfect for eachother." He smiled sneakily. I put my hands on his warm cheeks. He leaned his head down and kissed me. "You guys are like the power couple!" Janet, this dorkey girl who was just trying to fit in said. "Oh uh." I started. "Yeah, we are aren't we?" Shayley said grabbing my hand. I rolled my eyes. "I mean you guys are both good looking, have musical talents, are short. you guys are perfect."
