I text Chris that I won't be able to come school today as I'm not feeling up to the mark as I sit in my car. He asks me what happened but I don't answer him. I don't like lying to him at all.

I start the car and pull out of the driveway. I already told mom that I will be home by dinner but not before that since Gabriel wants to spend the day with me. Of course I don't tell her that I am skipping school too.

Gabriel hops inside the car as soon as I pull up. "Ready for an awesome day?" He cheers me up.

"Let's see what you've got." I challenge him.

"You'll love every single second of it."

I scoff. My phone vibrates and I know someone texted me. I pick it up and Chris's name flashes on the screen. Before I could open and see the text, Gabe snatches it from my hand. "No phones whatsoever." He says as he switches off mine and his phone. I shrug it off.

He then gives me the direction to where we are going. After an hour or two he tells me stop in front of what looks like a country fair.

The winds here are really strong making my hairs go here and there. "A fair? What are we ten year old?" I shout because of the wind.

"Just wait and watch." He shouts back as he grabs my hand and leads me inside. It's.. beautiful to say the least. Small girls in frock are running around with candy floss in their hands. Couples are laughing. Overall, the atmosphere is tention free and happy. Gabe was right, I really like it here.

"Let's go there." He points to what seems like a clothes stall.

I shrug but accept it. Once their, I see one college girl and one teenage girl behind the counter. "What can I help you with?" The elder one asks politely. Her voice is so full of joy that I can't help but smile.

"My girlfriend here wants a new dress." Gabe answers for me. His girlfriend comment doesn't go unnoticed by me and I glare at him. He only shrugs.

"Of course. We will find you one perfect dress." The younger one says. She jumps out from behind the counter and leads me inside the stall. She then takes me to a small makeshift changing room.

The elder one brings me a number of dresses. Then, the younger one helps me out of my actual clothes and the elder one slides a pink summer dress on me. Before I know it, the younger one ties the lace on the back while the elder one quickly rolls my hair in a bun.

Once they are done, I am being pushed out of the room and towards Gabriel. That's when I actually notice the dress. It's a simple pink, floral, summer dress. The thing that I love about it is the thick border of artificial flowers on it's hem.

"Wow.. that was quick.. and you look different. Good different." Gabe comments.

"I know." I twirl a little. Not taking my eyes off the beautiful dress. "I don't wear florals much."

"You should. Looks good on you." He takes out his phone from his pocket and clicks some photos.

"Time for another one." The younger one says again as she drags me inside again.

After an hour or so, we leave the stall with atleast ten dresses in my hand. They were all just too hard to resist. Even Gabe liked them so much that he payed for all of it. Not that I didn't deny his kindness, he was just so adamant.

"So where to now?" I ask him.

He points to a food stall. "You hungry?" He asks.

"I am." I accept.

Gabriel laces his hand with mine and leads me there. We both step inside the big makeshift restaurant and sit on a vacant table. "Let's do something fun." He says. I cock an eyebrow at him. "Give me your ring." He says pointing at the ring resting on the index finger of my right hand.
