Paige

"What just happened?" Austin said after a while. We all were standing there for I suppose ten minutes after Evanna left. Tears welled up in my eyes. My bestie is drifting away from me and I am not able to do anything.

"I don't know. I don't fucking know anything." I said, frustrated. Their eyes widened.

"You cuss?" Gabe teased.

"Sometimes. That's not the point. She is drifting away guys, we need to bring her back."

"You are right, but how?" Austin asked. Just then I saw Chris running towards us. Thank you so much god for giving me this idea.

"Guys, I just saw Evanna and she looked....wild." Chris fixes his backpack on his shoulder.

"Pack your bags guys, we're going on a trip." I kind of order.

"What!?" All three shout together.

I roll my eyes. "The only person that can help us bring Evanna back is Chris. Evanna really likes you Chris."

"Thanks for giving me so much importance Paige but I don't think I'll be of any help."

"You're right Paige. But I still don't get why we do this trip?" Austin said ignoring Chris.

"Evanna will get to spend more time with us and with Chris and during this time, we all will try our best to bring her soft side up." I explained. I thought they will figure this much out but boys have always disappointed me.

Gabriel hugged me. "That's a great plan Paige!"

I quickly pulled away. "Yeah whatever." He groaned.

"But what about school?" Chris geekly asks.

"A week or two won't do any harm." I said even though I know it would, but right now Evanna is my top most priority.

"But.."

"What's worse, losing Evanna or skipping school for some days?"

He sighs. "K."

"Thanks bro." Austin patted his back. Chris stumbled because it was a bit too hard. Austin's nature does not match his personality even a bit. He is a kind and funny and sensible and caring guy with a body of a gang leader. I'm not joking, he is 6'2, almost a feet taller than me and Evanna, and has really good muscles which he works on a lot.

Evanna

Ever since I stepped in the school, I've been recieving nothing but stares and smirks. I am really liking the attention. A few girls and guys even said that I look smokin' hot. The reaction I got from my friends really disappointed me. I kind of knew that they won't approve it but it's my body, I can do anything with it.

Dad too saw me yesterday, but luckily I was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie so he didn't see the tattoos, just the nose and ear piercing. And the haircut too. He didn't say much about it, but still said that my hairs didn't look bad. I was soo happy when he said that.

The corridors are all empty by now. Why won't it be? I'm leaving almost four hours after the school ends, thanks to the detention Ms Clarke gave me. I was just showing my tattoo! Anyways what's done is done, I have to plan my rest of the evening too.

I saw someone sitting on the bonet of my car when I stepped in the parking lot. Paige! What is she doing here?

"Paige." I walked towards her. She turned and greeted me with a smile. My heart lightened up. Paige's reaction disappointed me the most this morning. She acted like she was scared of me."Why are you here? It's been four hours since the school got over."
