Day one
"Evanna!?" Austin shouted from downstairs. God he seriously has patience issues. It's just been an hour since he arrived.
"Just ten more minutes." I sit on my overflowing bag and jump up and down to bring the zip close.
"You've been saying that for almost an hour." Gabriel shouted. Then, I hear footsteps approaching and the next second, someone barges open the door.
Chris chuckled when he saw me. "Need help?" He smirks.
"No. I'll manage." I said, my face turning red. Chris steps forward and kneel down in front of me. He extends his hand and zips the chain. He is so close that I can almost feel him. I don't know what this feeling is. I always freeze or am out of my senses.
I get up from my bag and Chris immediately carries it.
"You don't have to do that. I can carry my things." I deadpan. I really don't appreciate it when boys take me for damsel in distress. I snatch my bag from him and walk downstairs.I hear him sigh as he walks behind me.
"Finally." Gabriel huffs after spotting me.
"You know Austin you could've help." I narrow my eyes at Austin.
"And risk seeing your laungerie drawer? No thanks." He teases, not taking his eyes off his phone. Gabriel laughs at this while Chris just rolls his eyes. I smack Austin on his head.
"Ouch! Calm your tits woman." And I smack him again. "Ok ok I am sorry." He raises his hands up in defeat.
"I would gladly volunteer." Gabe smirks. I roll my eyes at him.
"Now let's get going. You know how Paige is when it comes to punctuality." I start walking outside with my bags. All the boys follow me.
Gabriel opens the butt of his convertible and puts in the luggage. Meanwhile Marie comes outside running and pulls me into a tight hug. "Take care baby. Don't drink too much okay?" She pulls away and look me in the eyes. Her eyes held water.
"I'm just going for some days Marie. I'll be fine." I tell her. She nods and steps back.
Gabriel gets in the driver's seat and motions me to do the same. I wave Marie a goodbye and hop in the shotgun. Austin and Chris jump in the backseat. Once everyone were settled, Gabriel started the car and we drove out of our driveway.
We reach Paige's house a few minutes later and stop the car. Paige is already waiting for us outside the gate. Her arms folded over her chest, tapping her feet with an annoyed expression plastered on her face. I know I am in trouble.
Austin helps Paige with the luggage after which they both get in the car. Chris is now sandwiched between Paige and Austin. Paige still has her arms folded.
"Morning?" I said in a low voice. Three... Two... One...
"Morning? As in good morning? You Evanna Winters have ruined my morning. I have been waiting for half an hour and I know you all are late just because of you. Haven't I told you to pack earlier but no, your lazy ass doesn't listen anything." Paige lashed out.
After exactly five seconds, all the boys burst out laughing. I started laughing with them too. Paige soon joined.
"I am not supposed to laugh you know. I am mad at you." Paige said in between her laughs.
"Lazy ass?" Gabriel said in between his laughs.
"In the whole wide speech, the only word you catch is this? Pervert." I deadpan. They all laughed louder at my statement. The car fell silent soon after. All I could hear was the sound of winds.
