it was her first time on a yacht and being a water person she was so ecstatic when she learned that her fans organized a belated birthday party for her. a celebration over water. she was all for it, of course. and so as the party is at full swing, she looks over to the dark waters around her, relishing the sound of splashing waves against the yacht and breathing in the smell of the sea. oh yes, she could live like this.
now if only the one person she'd have wanted to be with her were actually there, then everything would be perfect.
*facetime ringing
"hi love!"
"hey, pretty lady in white."
"eeh. ano ba..."
"enjoying the night, ma?"
"sobra!"
"what about your fans?"
"great as always! and everyone's been asking about you, syempre."
"well, that's expected."
"yeah. but i really wish you were here..."
"love..."
"wishful thinking, i know."
"well, malay mo..."
"huh? don't tell me you're here love...you can't be, otherwise nag-stampede na itong mga kasama ko sa yacht and malamang nagsisigawan na sila kung andito ka, and baka mag-capsize itong barko, oh no, baka magpanic silang lahat, yung iba pa naman hindi talaga nakikinig kay kuya na nagde-demo ng lifejacket kanina, oh no kasalanan ko kasi ginagaya ko siya kaya nadidistract sila, they weren't paying attention..."
"ma, kalma, andami mo nang sinabi."
"eh ikaw kasi! huwag mo ko sorpresahin!"
"i'm not there, ok? andito ako sa kabilang yacht, look to your left. now soon as you can leave, dean will take you here."

"i'll be waiting for you."
