Chapter 2

Matt's POV

“I got her a shirt." I tell Cameron. “Where is everyone?"

Today is the first day I've saw Cameron, Shawn, Brent, Tasia, Hayes, Brenna, and Carter, for the past two weeks since we all move out from each other.

Flashback:

2 months ago

“What are all the things you guys want to do, you know straight forward from now?" Alex ask us all as we gather around the fire.

“Well I know I'm going to be a better dad." Jack G say smiling at Sophia, who is sleeping on him.

“Same here." Nash says, Skylynn does the same that Sophia does to Jack.

“I want to be closer to mom again." Hayes speaks up.

We all look around.

“Really? That sounds pretty stupid." I scoff.

“It's not stupid, it's just probably not the best idea." Shawn defends.

“No… I actually thinks a good idea. I want to be closer to mom too." Tasia adds

“Really?" I ask.

She nods.

“Me too." Brent says.

“Where is all this coming from?" I ask.

“I think we all should try to get closer to mom." Brenna says.

“I agree." Babe nods.

“What?"

“I mean honestly you guys. We all want mom in our life's, rather we admit it or not. There are clearly big changes starting to come into our life's with Babe being pregnant, this is the perfect timing." Brenna explains.

“Yeah, I think you're right." Cameron nods.

“Nash, are you hearing this?" I ask.

“Yeah. I think it's kinda smart. If they want to be closer to mom, they should be. Honestly I kind of want mom there too, I don't want to be to explain to my kid why none of their grandparents are there."

“Actually," Babe says. “I'm planning on when I turn eighteen to start a relationship with my dad again."

“Why eighteen?" Shawn ask.

“I'll be an adult by then, he won't be able to try to take custody of me."

“Oh."

“Well, then I guess mom's going to be in our life again." I sigh. “I kinda want to get a place of my own too." I add.

“What? No." Cameron says.

“Why not, I think I should grow up. Being around you guys isn't helping me." I explain to them.

Cameron laughs. “Are you saying that we are immature, so you are?"

“No, I'm saying I depend on you all too much."

After that, we all pretty much have done the things we said we would. Nash and Babe moved out on their own, they're getting ready for my nephew or niece to be born. Carter, Shawn, Brenna and Cameron live together. I got a place of my own. And surprisingly enough, Tasia, Brent, and Hayes all bought my mom a new house here in Florida and they all live with her, including Skylynn.
