Kole's POV
When I wake up, Matt is no longer here. I get up slowly, and tremble in fear. Slowly I open the bedroom door.
“Matt?" I say.
There is no reply.
I grab my phone and find Matt's number. I start to breath heavily.
“What's wrong honey?" He says after he answers.
I take a deep breath. “Baby, please tell me you're here."
“I'm not, I'm sorry, I had to come get some more body wash, conditioner, and some face wash. I'll be right back, I swear. The alarm system is already up, so you don't have to worry."
But I am worried.
I breath heavily. “Okay."
“Baby, you're okay, I'll be back in about fifteen to twenty minutes."
“Alright, could you get me some candy?"
“Yes, baby. I'll be there in a minute. Love you."
“Love you too."
“Bye."
“Bye."
The call ends.

I pace back and forth, waiting for Matthew to enter the door. I finally hear the front door knob turning, and the sound of it opening. I stand to my feet, and start to walk to the front door so I wouldn't have as much worry as I have the past ten minutes.
“Matt?" I ask as I finally get to the front room at the door.
When I turn to the man in a black jacket, holding his arms apart for me to fall in, I feel my heart drop.
“H-how, did you get in here?" I try to sound confident while looking at my father for the second time in hours.
I knew he would come back.
“Come home with daddy, baby girl." He smiles.
I tremble, when for the first time, I had went against my father, alone in a room, with no one to save me. “No!"
“(Y/f/n) (Y/m/n) (Y/l/n), get in the car right now!" He demands.
“Don't call me that! You have no right to call me that! You aren't my father anymore!"
He starts to walk towards me with an angry scowl on his face..
I start to run to the kitchen until I am cornered by him.
“(Y/n), I'm going to tell you one last time to come with me, or you're gonna get it!"
I grab the biggest steak knife in the rack and hold it towards him.
“Get out! Get out right now!"
“I'm not leaving until you come with me!" He grabs my arm and throws me against the counter.
The swing the knife, and it glides down his right cheek.
He lets go and steps back.
“You're a little bitch! Just like your mother!" He spits.
“Don't call my mom a bitch!" I scream.
And just then, everything goes black.

I wake up, and I'm in a hospital bed, one very similar to the one I was in the other day. Is this a flash back, I look to the right, and just as before, Matt was sitting in the chair. I scan him, he's not wearing the same clothes as before. I let out a sigh of relief. Maybe I fainted and hit my head. But why wouldn't my dad take me away?
