I walk on the sidewalk as the sun pounds down of my skin. I have a slight headache from talking to the front desk lady explaining that I was going on a vacation for a while and to excuse my absents. Now tomorrow I just got to get all my work from all my teachers.
“Get in loser, we're going shopping!" I hear a voice say.
I turn to see Matthew in his car smiling.
I walk to the car and get in.
“It was a joke… you're supposed to laugh." He explains, the smile had never left his face.
I fake smile and nod.
He sighs. “Is this about yesterday-"
“No."
“Well what's wrong?"
“Nothing " I sigh leaning my head against the window, and staring out it.
He puts his hand on my knee. “Remember that thing we're working on? Trust. Hmm?"
Although I find this extremely difficult, I know that if I never try to help get this trust thing right, it never will be.
I sigh. “Tommy and I officially aren't friend anymore, but, I'm sure that probably makes you happy."
There is a moment of silence
“Yeah, I'm happy I don't have to worry about him snatching you up from me. But I'm not happy that you're unhappy… Baby look at me."
I sigh as I do so.
“What's on your mind?"
“I'm pissed off that I'm so fucking unlikable and I basically have no friends and I just lost someone who will actually put up with me!" I snap. “And this fucking bra is so damn tight that I can't fucking breath!"
He stares at me, our eyes locked. He doesn't look confused, or annoyed, or even worried, he just looks like he's listening. Like he understands every word.
“I like you." He tells me. “Kole, the only people who matter, are the ones who will be there, and I'm one of those people… I'll be there when ever you need me."
I sigh as I look down to my feet. I lean up, putting my hands behind my shirt, struggling to unlatch the undergarment that hugged so tightly I could feel the wires within it. I feel Matt's finger slide up my back and unclasp me. I pull out the bra from the side of my sleeve and throw it out the window.
I look back to Matt, a small smile plays upon his lips. “Better?"
I nod. “Much better."

Next morning
Last night, I basically packed my bags and Matt and I watched a video. My alarm went off and I rolled over to see Matthew there. His mouth open and he breaths quietly as he sleeps.
I stare, not like adoring him, not like he's a stranger, but wondering why… Why would this person, care about me, why would this guy want to help me, what does he want?
If reincarnation is real, I believe in Matt's past life he was a good person, a really good person in fact. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe there is truth in religion, maybe he's an angel. Or maybe he was sent by one?
Sighing, I lift myself out of bed. My feet padder against the cold hardwood floor when I make it hall, and it leads me to the bathroom. I get everything that I needed done other than getting dressed. I return to my room and open my door.
A raspy voice is heard from behind me.
“I could get used to seeing you dressed like that."
I scan myself. I wear plain white underwear with a lace band, and a plain black shirt. I then return to looking through my clothes.
