“Get off of me!" I demand trying to pull away from Matt.

He chased me down to the parking lot after I ran out.

“Please don't do this." He sobs.

“Let me go!" I say jerking from him.

“Where are you even gonna go?" He sniffs. “Ya know, I'm the only one you got."

“I have myself!"

“But you know you don't want it that way!"

“You're right! But I don't want it this way either!" I demand. “You just come out of no where and tell me that the person I've loved since the beginning of time, is arch enemies with the person I love more than breathing?!" I shake my head. “I would die for you Matthew!" I fight the tears that threaten my eyes. “But I would for her too.. and I don't even know her."

“But me! You know me! I would die for you too Kole! I'm in love with you!-"

“I'm not doing this Matthew!"

“What the fuck does that mean Kole?!" He yells with tears still streaming down his face.

I take a deep breath, “It means that I never want to see Beth again, that I don't want  to have a bond or any type of relationship with her, and it means that we're over."

He shakes his head. “No we're not."

“We are!"

“No! We aren't fucking done! We aren't over! There is no over when it comes to us!" He demands. “You don't just wake up one day, and decide you don't love someone!"

Nash comes into view and Shawn and Carter aren't to far behind as they run towards us.

I never said I didn't love him.

“And the entire time, I thought I was the crazy one." I almost whisper.

His eyes are suddenly are so different than what I've ever seen them look before. They're so dark, serious, and focused. His voice is low, quiet, yet still powerful, “I told you I was."

My eyes widen.

“You said it yourself, what person in the right mind would love a crazy person?"

Nash was finally at our side's. Matthew still, tightly was holding on to my wrist and arm.

“Don't you get it?" Matt says. “No one else is going to love you half as much as I do."

You would think that his words were sweet. But the only things I could use to describe his eyes: dominance, power, greed.

“Matt," Nash says, while slowly bringing his hand up to his brother's. “Let go of her."

It's like Matt couldn't even hear him, see him, or anything else. All he could hear, see, or feel, was me, and that's exactly where he focused all his energy and attention to.

Nash slowly pulls each of Matt's fingers from my wrist.

“You know that?" Matt ask me. “Right?"

The tears that I had been fighting for so long, finally win, as the first slips out. Then the second. “Yeah." I say quietly as the third tear flies to the ground. “I've known for a while."

Nash was just about to release Matthew's hand, but doesn't, when Matt does it himself. He still keeps stare focused towards me though.

“Come on, man." Carter says, patting Matt's shoulder.

Finally the hard gaze stops, and he turns walking away with both Carter and Shawn.

I shake my head, looking down and covering my mouth, trying to stop the sound of me weeping.
