Summary:

The first time Kim Taehyung tries to propose to Park Jimin, it’s their third Valentine’s Day together. Taehyung has kept the rings (two of them, because they’ll be promised to each other) in a tiny Tiffany blue box in his coat pocket for the last few weeks. It’s been hard finding the right moment, and he’s a little worried that maybe a Valentine’s Day proposal is a little cliche, but Jimin would be into that. . . right?

Days, weeks, and even months can fly by in a single relationship but when you’ve been together for two years like Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin, time just soars.

Two years?

What the hell have they been doing for two years?

Well. . .

Junior year, the year that they started dating, passed, and senior year arrived. While Jimin and Taehyung were finishing up school, their friend Hoseok already graduated and was starting up a dance studio somewhere in Gangnam. He so kindly offered the job of co-mananger to Jimin, but Jimin couldn’t just drop the last year of school to help step up a studio and begin teaching without some sort of degree. So, keeping education as his major and dance as his minor, he told Hoseok to keep the job reserved for him until school was over.

(Plus, Jimin was still stripping and he didn’t want to stop earning the cash just yet).

Taehyung was expected to partake in his parent’s business firm after college and -- to Jimin’s surprise-- he told his father he would start working once the second semester ended. When asked, Taehyung just said he readily agreed because he really had no plans for the future; well, besides my plan to be with you.

What a cheese.

It wasn’t until the middle of senior year towards the winter that Jimin moved in to Taehyung’s high-end loft in Gangnam. There was plenty of space, too much of it actually, and Jimin sort of felt lonely in his sad little bed without Taehyung. Taehyung’s gigantic bed could fit, like, three more people anyways. Moving in was easy because Jimin didn’t own much to begin with and he settled in within a day.

Oh, and Jimin’s stripping career also came to an end before the second semester finals arrived. Taehyung had always been okay with his boyfriend’s job, had even cheered him on in the crowd or backstage, but if Jimin was going to teach kids and teenagers after the summer, then he sort of needed to scratch “stripper” off his list of things he did in college. Kids didn’t need to know their teacher used to take off his clothes for money. Jimin’s already stated that if kids ever found out, he’d burn his degrees and go live under a bridge.

Yoongi took it pretty well and things sort of got emotional during Jimin’s last night working. Jimin would still swing by and help backstage, maybe teach some of the dancers, but his own stripping career was at its end.

Speaking of Yoongi, he finally admitted to his crush on Jungkook. Yoongi had been staring creepily at the kid for months whenever he hung around him and kept denying he had a sweet spot for the raven haired cutie. They’re stillawkward around one another, struggling to figure out who will open doors for who and how to hold hands properly, but they’re still cute regardless.
