Ship: Jimin×Namjoon
Summary:
Jimin and Namjoon are two happy boyfriends blissfully in love with each other. One works for the Autumn Leaves, and the other works for Awake, two large crime syndicates in South Korea.
Oh, what lies do they tell next?

When it comes to killing people, it wasn’t really a problem as long as he didn’t get caught and was paid.
Namjoon was an assassin of sorts, more so a hitman. At night, he took on missions that would end up with either a), someone dead, or b), new information that could be used to make that person dead. Regardless, he’d be killing people.
It wasn’t like he could quit whenever he wanted though, he was owned by Min Yoongi, the boss of one of Seoul’s top two crime syndicates. They were the Autumn Leaves, a group dedicated to eliminating corrupted hearts. Not much was known about their group, but they were dangerous and cynical.
Namjoon was trained to be such a man by his father, who then sold him off to Yoongi. Though his boss was only a few years older than him, he held much more dignity and control. He taught Namjoon how to be graceful and act like a gentleman, in great contrast to the emotionless and triggerhappy teen he once was.
His smarts gained Namjoon an upper hand, as well as a soft spot in Yoongi’s heart that gave him a few extra perks unlike the others. Everyone had codenames, and Yoongi gave him one accordingly. “Athena” what what he would have to respond to and was what he would be called during work. He also received a mask, covering his entire face.
The more of your face was covered, then the more important you were. It would hide your identity to avoid being found out, and of course, if you were important, then you couldn’t die. Lower ranks, known as pawns, would only have a quarter, covering only one eye and maybe a bit of their cheek or nose. Middle ranks, knights, got masquerade masks, covering both eyes and extending to the cheekbones. High ranks, bishops, got three quarters, a part of their cheek and mouth showing.
The only ones that got full face masks, engraved with their codename and all, were the ones that were closest to Yoongi, including himself. They were known as the queens, and Yoongi was the only king. So far, very few had gotten it. Namjoon was obviously one, and another was Jung Hoseok, nicknamed Sunshine. He had been a good friend of Yoongi’s and easily got the position because of that. The final person was someone who had previously been a large asset, not long after Namjoon was sold. However, they died due to heavily sustained injuries. He was a man that was close to Yoongi, much closer than any of the others. He was the one who urged Yoongi to do what he did now, to be free and do whatever.
It was his older brother.
Yoongi wasn’t really the same after that. He took extra care into the people he worked with, supplying everyone with proper weapons and gear and constantly checked missions for a ensured success rate. He swore to keep Namjoon, Hoseok, and all of his Queens as safe as much as possible, taking extra caution to send secret backup during their missions. He didn’t want to become too attached to anyone in fear that he would experience the same thing over and over, and turned much more secluded. His love was restricted to few people, which made some of the newbies misinterpret him.
Namjoon was glad he still had Yoongi’s fraternal love, but he desperately wanted the old Yoongi back. Never once had Namjoon experienced true love. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father merely interacted with him for the sake of selling him off. His whole life as a baby and toddler were with nannies. The feelings he had established with Yoongi were more mentor and student like in his first few years, morphing to boss and worker.
