Taehyung has been with him through thick and thin, and to be quite honest if anyone asked who his soulmate was Jimin would say Taehyung in a heartbeat. But right now he’s ten seconds away from strangling the life out of his best friend.

“I can’t believe that’s how you’re gonna propose to him! You’re so freakin cheesy!” Taehyung teases as Jimin flushes to his roots.

“It’s romantic! He’d like it!” Jimin argues as he looks at the detailed plans he had spread across the table. “I told you so you could help me! Not make fun of me!”

“I am helping you! Helping you not be a sap!” Taehyung says grabbing a page 5 of Jimin’s ‘How to Propose to the LOML’ plan. “Step 34 when Kookie enters the room, dim the lights and signal Seokjin to start playing our song ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply’. Step 35 after Kookie starts to cry, wipe tears away and bring him to the center of the room. Step 36 recite speech (see page 8 section b) as Taehyung enters dressed as Cupid to serenade— hold up when did I agree to this!” Jimin reaches forward to snatch the paper of his hands.

“The day you made me confess to Jungkook during our final in Public Speaking 4 years ago! You said dibs on best man and I said only if you helped me propose.”

“Oh yeah I forgot about that, man was that a wild class.”

Jimin snorts at the understatement. It was a crazy class, but only cause Taehyung and him had agreed to take it for the easy A. The teacher could care less about the student learning as long as they were willing to talk in front of the class and shut up when another person presented. They spent the semester making bullshit speeches about anything they wanted. Why sex was a scam, if giraffes were real, how could you really know if a person was seeing the same colors as you if you can never see through their eyes? Then walked in a freshman a two weeks later because of a late transfer.
