35 hours left... Third person POV

Maddie paced in what many people considered to be her office. By their definition it was an office; it held a big oak, wooden desk with some fancy plagues giving Maddie commendations for various events in her career. Considering she spent more time in the break room then this place people called her office, you can take a safe bet and say that she's not a fan of this room.

She paced in short strides, alternating her glance between the windows outside and phone sitting on her desk. She made the calls to her contacts throughout the military and local authorities, telling them to keep their ears and eyes out for any sign of Murdoc or Raelynn. She didn't know Raelynn all that well. Honestly, Maddie's only met her a hand full of times. But, she did know Macgyver. She knew not only the kind of agent he was but the kind of man he was in general. Which is why she was going to do everything in her power to get Raelynn back.

Just as she was about to pull her out hair in anticipation, waiting for the phone to ring, it rang. She ran as fast as her short, little legs would carry her to the desk. Maddie answered the phone, her voice immediately taking on a gruff tone.

"What do you got?" She stood there for a few seconds, listening to three-star general on the phone. The more the man continued to talk, the more her foot began to tap against the floor.

"Wait, so you're telling me you don't have the guy?! You have NO CLUE where Murdoc is?! Nothing?" The brow on her forehead began to furrow as Maddie went to staring out the window. As the conversation continued, her grip tightened around the neck of the phone. It was her attempt in stopping herself from reaching through the phone and strangling the shit out of this man.

"He's one of the government's most wanted assassins, not to mention he was supposed to be sitting in a supermax prison, waiting for his execution!"

"Why is this as important as I'm making it? Well, besides the fact of two reasons previously stated, he's out and kidnapped one of my agent's girlfriends, condemning her to death!" The man on the other end was able to get a few words in before Maddie took control of the conversation.

"Don't make it personal? It's a little too late for that buddy! Call me when you actually have something useful!" Slamming the phone back down into the receiver, Maddie ran a hand over her hair.

Looking at the watch on her wrist, she saw that they had less than 35 hours left to find Raelynn. She knew that the Phoenix foundation would find her, but would they be too late?

34 Hours left.... Mac's POV

I stormed back into the Phoenix foundation 11 hours later, no closer to finding any sort of information on Raelynn then when I left. It now into the early morning hours on Tuesday, the day after Raelynn had first been- borrowed against her will. I know it's a weird choice of words, but I can't bring myself to use the word kidnap.

I found myself wandering into the break room, where I plopped myself down into one of the metal chairs, a defeated sigh coming out of my mouth. I ran ever single fucking lead I could possibly think of. I checked the cameras in and near Raelynn's shop, seeing if there was the slightest fucking chance that they caught Murdoc leaving with Raelynn, nothing. I went to Raelynn's place, see if he or the goons left any evidence from when she grabbed the GPS there. Not only did I find absolutely nothing there, but it made me more depressed than before I got there. I even did the useless thing of checking Murdoc's old haunts, seeing if he'd finally screw up and go there, NOTHING!

I ran a hand through my hair. I could feel the grease from my hair gliding against my fingers as I continuously ran my fingers through. Let's be honest, it's the one thing that's keeping me from reaching out and striking the closest thing towards me.
