Michael:

When he heard you shriek he came running as fast as he could, to your room to see what had happened. Obviously expecting some kind of emergency, but as soon as he had seen the spider, he came running out of the room, almost as fast as he'd came running in, and you following closely behind him, eager to get away from the small creature as well.
"Wait to help Mikey," you rolled your eyes at him.
"That is a BIG ASS SPIDER okay," he yelled, clearly more scared of it than you were. Laughing to yourself about how manly your boyfriend was, you went to the closet, and grabbed one of his shoes to use as a weapon against the spider.
"Do you have to use one of myyyyyy shoeeeees," he whined to you.
"Considering I'm the one actually killing the spider, I refuse to use my own shoes. I mean that is, unless you want to kill the spider."
"Nu nu no," he immediately retorted, causing you to laugh once again.
You returned to the door to your room, and flung the shoe towards the wall, where the spider resided, causing it to immediately fall to the floor, and your boyfriend to jump.
"So whose gonna pick up the body," he asked, looking at you with a half smirk.
"But I just killed it!"
"But babeeee."

Ashton:

He heard you scream his name, followed by a series of thumps, and almost immediately ran to your shared room to see what had happened. It didn't take long for him to see the source of your terror, slightly giggling to himself.
"Hun, it's just a spider."
"But look at the size of it! What if it eats me!" you say, sitting in the corner of the room, hands over your eyes, refusing to look at the ceiling, where the spider sat.
"It won't eat you," he laughed, whilst exiting your room, to find something to kill it with. He returned with a tissue, extending his arm to the ceiling to squish the little critter. "There we go. It's gone; you can open your eyes."
You breathed a sigh of relief, carefully removing your hands from your face; to be sure the spider was gone. "Thanks boo," you said to Ashton, getting up, and placing your hands behind his neck. "You're my hero," you cooed in his ear, before getting on the tips of your toes, to place a kiss on his lips. He truly was your hero.
