stress of finals week

Ashton would pick you up one day, and, randomly, without telling you, he would drive in the opposite direction of your house. You would notice a few minutes later and say “Where are we going? I have to study, Ashton, this is important!” and he would just pretend not to hear you and turn up the music a little bit. After a little while you arrive at the ice cream shop downtown where you used to always tell Ashton about. You’d spend the evening with Ashton, just eating ice cream and having fun. When he brings you home later, you thank him for the nice little outing, because you would’ve gone insane if you had to stay inside any longer. You’d be thankful for Ashton, because, honestly, you wouldn’t tolerate anyone else distracting you from your studying other than him.

Calum would be the one to beg you over and  over again to just take a break for a little while and spend some time with him. You would be in the middle of studying for your literature exam and he would be constantly nagging you to stop for a little while and cuddle with him. Eventually, his cuteness would get the best of you and you go over to him on the couch, snuggling into his side. The two of you would talk about the most random things, ranging from a new song you heard on the radio to a really cute kitten you saw on twitter earlier. When you go back to studying, Calum would leave you to do your work, and you would feel much more calm and relaxed.

I feel like Michael would have a sort of system from when he was in school for dealing with stressful days like those in the week of finals. Like he might study for an hour or so, then take a break and watch tv or make some sort of food to take his mind off of the stress of finals. When he would bring you home from school, he would tell you his methods, and you’d try them. Strictly study for an hour with no distractions, then have a quick break and bake brownies or something with Michael. He would be very understanding and do his best to make that time the least stressful it could be for you by doing goofy things and being his normal adorable self.

Luke would be able to tell when the studying was getting to you. He would hear it in your voice when you told him to “get out of here” and “leave me alone”. You never talk to him (or anyone) like that, and he knows that it has to be the work. Luke would leave quietly when you told him to and remain downstairs until you emerge from your room later for a food break after four and a half hours of intense studying. When you step into the kitchen, you would smile after finding Luke trying to take a tray of cookies out of the oven to cool. He would see you and engulf you in a big hug, telling you it’s alright after you apologize for how you acted before, because he knows you’re stressed out and he understands.
