His Favorite Way to Talk to You on Tour

Luke:

(Texting)

Luke was busy all the time on tour, between shows, soundchecks, appearances, interviews, etc. so he didn't have much time to talk on the phone or Skype, unfortunately. However, he does make the most of the time he has by sending you texts when he gets the chance. He knows you love it when your phone lights up with a text from him, so he does his best to send you good morning and good night messages, even if it means staying up late or getting up early to accommodate for the different time zones. He always asks about your day and loves to tell you about his. Texting might not be the best or easiest way to communicate, but the two of you are more than willing to make it work, because you know its worth it.

Ashton:

(Facetime)

Ashton likes to facetime you while he does everything on tour. Whether it's drumming while the phone is propped up on the drum kit or he's carrying his phone around while running away from one of the cuddle piles, he likes knowing you're seeing, well hearing, what's going on. Even though Ashtons' 2am facetimes wake you up sometimes, you can't help but forgive him when he gives you one of his special smiles that's just for you. Ash also loves to sing you to sleep even though you don't like how if you pass out, he can hear your snores. He doesn't mind though because he thinks they're adorable. In the end you wouldn't trade your facetimes for anything in the world, well except Ashton being home with you of course.

Michael:

(Snapchat)

Michael would snapchat constantly throughout the day. A 10 second picture of him before an interview, photo shoot, show or him just hanging out with the boys flashing upon your phone screen. He enjoyed updating you on the little bits and pieces of his life just as much as he liked seeing your replies. The little picture conversations the two of you would have seemingly made time pass a little quicker which tended to help quite a lot when one of you were bored. It also made that fact the he would be gone for months at a time not as bad. And when you weren't feeling your best he would send you the craziest face ever, knowing just what to do to make you smile again.

Calum:

(calling/voicemail)

He would always call you when he had the chance, whenever he would go into a different timezone you and him would always coordinate a time best for both, which inevitably has one of you setting an alarm to wake up at, mostly because Cal hates waking you up when you're at rest, fast asleep. Sometimes you can't get to the phone, or you slept through your alarm you set for him, missing his call. But he'd always leave a voicemail, talking about how much he loves you and how he wishes you were there in his arms, kissing him sweetly like you always do. He'd always end it with "I love you more than imagine, my sunshine.", telling you goodnight and hanging up, trying his best to fall asleep without hearing your voice beforehand.
