Lilly was in her room, packing for Daytona. She didn't know what to bring so she was just bringing a little bit of everything that she had with her. They were leaving tomorrow morning, and she couldn't wait to get there and see the track. She was a little nervous about going, but she pushed that aside and would deal with that when it came time to.

Finding the items that Denny got her from JGR, she open ends the bag and pulls out her shirts and her hoodie along with her hat and other items that Denny had gotten her. Smiling to her self, she folds up the shirts and the hoodie and puts it in her bag just in case it got cold. Looking into her bag and double checking it, she thinks she is all packed except for the last minuet items. Picking up her list that she had made so she didn't forget anything, she reads it over and decides that she had it all in her bag. Going into her bath room, she gathers all of her items and puts them in her over night bag, so all she had to do after she used them in the morning was put them back in and zip it up and throw it in her bag.

Happy that she was done, she went down stairs to find the boy's and see what they were up to.

-----

Denny and Tony were in the kitchen drinking coffee, and talking about the upcoming season. They both had high expectations for the season and couldn't wait to get out on the track and duel it out.

Tony was standing behind the counter and Denny was sitting across from him. Tony thought this would be a good time to ask him how he felt about Lilly.

"Denny.. I want to ask you something. It's about Lilly."

Denny looked at Tony above his coffee cup took a long drink and set it down on the counter. Knowing what was coming he said "Go ahead."

"How do you feel about Lilly? What are your true feelings for her. And don't give me some bull shit answer." Tony tells him with a look.

Denny looks at Tony, rolls his eyes and say's "I like her. A lot. I just want to go slow with her like she said. She's different than the others Tony. I know what your thinking. I said that before. But I mean it. She's different, it's a different feeling I get when I'm with her. I've felt it from the first time I saw her."

Tony nods his head, and say's "Okay. I just wanted to be sure. You know my warning. And I mean it. You hurt her and you won't be able to dive a moped."

"I got it.." Denny tells him with a smile. "I don't plan on hurting her."

Tony nods his head and looks up to see Lilly coming down the stairs and walking towards them.

"All packed and ready to go?" Tony asks her.

"All done, except for the last minuet items." Lilly tells him stopping at the door way of the kitchen. Looking around she sighs, would she ever get over the fear of this kitchen?

Tony and Denny saw her hesitation, and they both started to go and get her when she held up her hand and said "Stop. I will do this on my own. I just need a minuet."

They walked back to where they were, and watched her. She was shaking like a leaf, but to give her credit she was trying to get over her fears.

"You can do it Lill's. One step at a time." Denny encourages her.

Lilly looks up and meets his eyes, and takes one step into the kitchen, and then another. Before she knew it she was next to Denny at the bar, and had a cup of coffee in front of her.

Sighing with relief she looks down at her cup and smiles. "I did it." She whispers.

"You did good Lilly!" Tony tells her placing his hand on her arm. "I'm proud of you. Small steps before the big ones."
