Chapter 51

Tony, Denny and Lilly were strolling up to Clint's hauler. Denny hung back with Lilly and let Tony handle Clint.

Tony walked into the hauler to find Clint. Finding him in the back of the hauler, he looked up when he saw Tony.

"Man, I'm sorry. I don't know where she is.. I've looked every where."

"I found her.. Your lucky she's okay and just scared out of her mind."

Clint gave Tony a look. "Where did you find her? I looked every where. I had her paged. Why is she scared?"

"It's a long story that involves someone she loves dieing at a dirt track.. Next time you plan on taking a girl some where and you don't know much about her, how about you ask someone close to her if it's a good idea?"

"Tony.. I didn't know.. I thought since she works at Eldora, she would be fine and have a good time. If I had known I wouldn't of brought her."

When Tony just gave him a glare, Clint said "Is she out there? I want to tell her I'm sorry."

"She's out there.. But so is a very angry Denny."

Clint let out a snort and started to walk to the end of the hauler.

"Don't say I didn't warn your ass." Tony say's following him.

Stepping outside, Clint saw Denny holding onto a very scared looking Lilly. When Denny looked up, his eyes were filled with anger.

Denny pulled Lilly behind him, and held onto her so she wouldn't go any where.

"Let me talk to her Hamlin." Clint said with anger rising.

"You can talk to her from there. Don't get any closer." Denny say's through clenched teeth.

Tony grabbed Clint's arm and said "I would listen to him. He doesn't look happy."

Clint shrugged Tony off and stepped towards Denny.

"Don't do it.." Denny warned.

"Denny, please don't fight him.." Lilly say's quietly behind him.

"Just let me talk to her! Your not her boyfriend, she can do what she wants. Ask her why she came with me. Go on ask her!"

Denny looked at Clint, and then at Tony. Sighing he pulled Lilly from behind his back.

Lilly wouldn't meet there eyes.

Clint stepped towards Lilly again, and Denny pulled her back to his chest with his hands around her middle.

"Your protective over this one.." Clint say's with a smug smile.

"Say what you have to say.." Denny say's with clenched teeth.

Clint looked at Denny and sighed.

"Lilly.." When she didn't look at him, he stepped closer. Denny let go of Lilly and stepped in front of her. "I said don't move.."

"And I don't give a fuck what you said." Clint said stepping up to Denny.

"Okay boy's.. let's back away.." Tony say's stepping in between them.

When neither of them moved. Tony sighed.

"Clint.. Say what you have to say, from right there." Tony say's with a glair.

Sighing Clint say's "Lilly, I'm sorry. I didn't know. I didn't mean to upset you."

Denny snorted earning a glair from Tony.

Lilly peered around Denny and said "It's okay. I know. I just want to go home.."

Clint stepped around Tony, and went to touch Lilly's shoulder, only to be grabbed by Denny.
