Chapter 12

Pulling up to Kasey’s house, Lilly couldn’t help but stair at the big gray house.

Tony looks over at her, and smiles. “We all have big houses, Lilly.”

Blushing she say’s “I just can’t get over why does someone who is hardly home need such a big house?”

With a blank look and a chuckle he say’s “I don’t know. I guess we just want a big house because we can afford it. And we like to party, and we need a big house to hold everyone.”

Getting out of the car, they headed up to the front door. Tony rings the bell and looks over at Lilly. “Relax! They are going to like you. Don’t look so worried.” Tony tells her.

Smiling, she nods her head. The door opens, and there stands Kasey in jeans and a Kasey Kahne Racing tee shirt. “Hi guy’s! Come on in!” Kasey greets them. Once inside, Lilly looks around. The house is beautiful, it’s open area and is beautifully decorated.

“It’s nice to see you made it out of the lake, Lilly” Kasey say’s with a giggle.

Not knowing what to say and shooting Tony a glare, she looks at Kasey and laughs.

“I made some brownies. I didn’t feel right not bringing anything.” Lilly say’s with a smile.

“Your lucky I didn’t eat the whole pan as good as they smelled.” Tony say’s with a chuckle.

“These look, wonderful.” Kasey say’s looking down at the brownies and then back to Lilly. “You didn’t have to bring anything! But thank you!”

Smiling Lilly say’s “Your welcome!”

Kasey took the brownies to the kitchen.

Lilly looked around the house again. Feeling Tony look at her, she turns and say’s “What? I like to look at beautiful things! This house is beautiful!”

Feeling daring, Tony say’s “I think your beautiful, Lilly.”

Lilly blushes and walks away. She walks over to the mantel to look at the pictures Kasey has displayed. Seeing a cute little boy and Kasey both in swim trunks, with the little boy giving bunny ears to Kasey. Giggling she picks up the photo. Kasey comes up beside her and say’s “That’s my nephew Eli. He’s a ham!”

Looking at Kasey, she see’s that he really loves to be around Eli. Placing the picture back on the mantel she looks at the next one.

“These are all of me and my family. This one” he say’s pointing “Is me and my Brother Kale at a dirt race last year. And this one” he say’s pointing “Is my sister Shannon and her husband, Eli, Mom and Dad and Kale and I.”

Looking at the smiling faces, Lilly say’s “You have a beautiful family, Kasey.”

Smiling and looking at Lilly he say’s “Thank You!”

Hearing the door bell Kasey goes and answers it.

Lilly walks over to Tony. Standing next to him she lets out a breath.

“You will be just fine! Treat them like they are your long lost best friends, and you are a shoo in! Any one gives you trouble, dunk them in the pool!” Tony say’s with a smirk.

Lilly starts to laugh as the first guest walks in the door.
