(Harry)
I was walking around my hometown to get some fresh air. Not only was it cold outside, it was starting to gain some wind. I put my hood on after adjusting my beanie. It was actually beautiful here despite the cold wind blowing in my face in an attempt to block my view. It wasn't long when I starting to think about Louis again. I tried to stop until I get home to him, I really tried, but it was no use. I couldn't stop because for one, he's always on my mind, and two, I was standing at the very place that him and I met for the first time. A coffee shop.
Flashback
"Dude, I'm telling you the truth. She's just not into you." I glared at Liam.
"What do you know, anyways?" I said into the phone.
"Hazzy, mate, you don't really expect me to believe that you even really liked her. I mean, sure you two seemed happy in all, but was it really going to last? I've seen the way you look at that Will guy. Googly eyes and heart beating."
"I don't know what you're talking about." I didn't really think it was that noticeable.
"Listen, mate, it's fine with me where you wanna put your lips but atleast don't lie about it." I rolled my eyes even though I knew he couldn't see me.
I continued to walk across the street with my mobile practically glued to my face. Liam was seriously getting on my nerves today and he wasn't even trying to. Nothing was going good today. Everything was blowing up and all I needed was a nice cup of coffee to fix all of my problems. Well, atleast in theory. I guess I didn't know where I was going because the next thing I knew, I had the wind knocked right out of me.
"Ow!" I looked to see what I hit and it wasn't an 'it' but a 'he'.
"I am so sorry." I hung up on Liam immediately and offered my hand to the guy I knocked into.
"Well, I've heard of someone who's a real knockout, but I wasn't expecting the saying to mean it literally." He said after I helped him up. I laughed lightly.
"Again, I am so sorry. I really should have been watching where I was going."
"All is forgiven." He smiled softly.
"Really?" I cheered up.
"Yeah, only if you buy me a drink." I knew there had to be a condition.
"Of course I will." I opened up the door to the coffee shop for him and followed him inside.
It was really weird to be buying a drink for a stranger. We hadn't even exchanged names and already I was spending pounds on him. The worst part is that I wasn't even sure that I had enough pounds for more than one cup of coffee.
We waited in line and he ordered a cup of tea I ordered my coffee. Once the barista told me the amount I found out that I only had enough for the tea. I politely told the barista that I couldn't get the coffee and the strange guy gave me a weird look.
"I-uh-changed my mind about the coffee."
"Bollocks." He shook his head.
"I'm serious."
"You could only afford one drink and you picked to pay for mine. I'm sorry I made you spend your money on me."
"It's fine, really. I owed you a drink and got you one so that's what matters."
"Thank you, uh-"
"Harry."
"Thank you, Harry. I'm Louis."
"It's very nice to knock into you, Louis." He giggled.
"Thanks for knocking me to the ground today." I smiled at his beautiful giggle.
End of flashback
I sighed and looked around the town. I knew that the minute I walked into that coffee shop that I'd remember the day and everything that happened. I already remembered how we met. What else would I remember? What else would flashback to me and hurt my heart? Would the memory of after coffee and tea come to mind? I was already starting to remember it.
Flashback
I walked him out of the coffee shop and all the way home. I found out so much about him and his story. His life story. He was an aspiring writer and planned on publishing atleast one book in his lifetime. He told me that he had a mum and his dad had left him when he was little. I told him about my mum and dad's divorce. It was nice to talk to someone with similar stories.
"I can't believe you carried that baby duckling with you everywhere until you found its mother. Are you even a real person? I've heard of angels coming down from earth before but I never believed it until now." He was so sweet. He was older than me, yet he acted so young compared to me.
"Well, I didn't want the duckling to be all alone. I would hate to lose my mum like that."
"You're so kind. First you buy me a tea and then I find out that you're practically a modern Jesus." I chuckle.
"I'm not that kind. I didn't what anyone would have done."
"No, Harry. Not everyone would do something like you did. You're a kind person; don't ever let go of that."
"Will you go out with me this Saturday?" He told me he'd love to.
