Chapter 5

Second POV:

"What's going on here?" You stand inside the same cafe, at the table, with (F/N) and your date, Suga, looking at the scene in front of you. "Oi! (F/N), didn't you tell Oikawa I'm bringing someone?"

"Oh no! I knew I forgot something! I'm so sorry!" (F/N) bows towards everyone while apologizing for the mistake she did.

She was supposed to tell Oikawa that you will be bringing your own date so that he won't bring someone, and things will be awkward like they are now.

Usually, on double dates, each girl has her own partner. Which means, there are four people, two girls, and two boys to escort them. That means four people in total right? So something is very wrong here since you can count five people standing at the table.

"(F/N)-chan? What's going on?" Oikawa asks with Iwaizumi behind him.

"I'll tell you what's going on. This idiot here! Was suppose to tell you before our meet up today that I'm bringing someone and you don't need to call anyone. But the airhead forgot! And now here we are!" You were pretty annoyed at all this, and you wanted to vent it out on someone, but something caught your eye... Or someone.

You saw Iwaizumi... He seemed down, or disappointed?

"It's fine; I'll leave, you guys enjoy your day." Iwaizumi grabs his jacket to leave the cafe.

"Iwa-chan!? Seriously?" Oikawa looks sad to see his best friend who was looking forward to this leave.

"Eh? Iwaizumi-kun, are you sure? You shouldn't have to..." You can't seem to tell why, but the expression on his face tugged on your heart.

"No, it's ok, don't worry about it (L/N)-san, I just came to make sure Shittykawa apologizes to you for last week." He gives off a small polite smile and walks out of the cafe. You knew very well, that smile is fake!

"(Y/N)? You ok?" Suga asks while Oikawa and (F/N) were catching up and talking about the situation.

"No, I'm not. Sorry, Suga!" You run out of the cafe and after Iwaizumi before he gets very far. Suga did call out to you and run after you. He always needed to make sure you were ok.

"Iwaizumi-kun! Wait!" He just left the cafe, so he didn't get very far.

"(L/N)-san? What's wrong?" He's shocked to see you running towards him; he felt something in his heart when he heard you call his name. However, he also felt an unpleasant feeling when he saw Suga running behind you.

"Phew! You shouldn't have to leave just cause our pair of idiots of friends made a mistake." Before he could reply, you continued. "I don't know if I read your expression correct last week, but it seemed like you didn't want to be there as much as I didn't. Which could mean that you also don't want to be doing this in your weekend right?"

"Well, yes, I was dragged last week. But today I was the one doing the dragging. Oikawa needed to apologize to you for what he did. I'm sorry about him." You could hear that he was sincere in what he is saying. You wanted to talk to him more.

"Haha, you don't have to apologize for him. Although I do get the feeling of apologizing about (F/N) from time to time."

As you were both talking, Suga was just standing on the side observing, he knows the both of you, and he is seeing something different. He suddenly gets a phone call. You both stop talking to see what's up.

"Ah, sorry, Daichi called. He was just asking if I... Umm... He just needs me for a few things. Iwaizumi-kun I'll leave (Y/N) with you. (Y/N) don't be mean to him, Iwaizumi-kun is actually a nice guy." You could easily tell that he was very flustered after the phone call with Daichi and you found it very suspicious!
