Chapter 19

Second POV:

"So how is Iwaizumi-kun these days?"

"Augh! Don't even mention that name in front of me!"

You and (F/N) are sitting in a cafe, catching up on all the things have happened with the both of you. It has been 6 months since high school graduation, and everyone went and continued on to their path in life.

You stayed in Miyagi, that way you are not far from your parents if they need something or if something happened and plus it's home. You are not sure what the plans for the future are, so taking regular college classes are keeping you busy these days.

(F/N) on the other hand went to Kyoto. She has been in love with their gardens ever since she can remember and she wanted to contribute to that beauty with her own hands. So right now, she is studying all there is to know about flowers and gardening.

It was bizarre at first to be separated from your best friend; however, you both kept in contact, and you do visit from time to time. You don't like to gossip, but (F/N) needs someone to rant, complain, and talk to about Oikawa and all the things they do and talk about.

Yes, Oikawa and (F/N) are still together, and they are going strong! Even though they aren't in the same area, whenever she can, (F/N) goes to Tokyo to visit him. Plus her parents have accepted their relationship, so they let her stay the weekend sometimes!

"Oh come on! Don't be like that! Remember all the good times and memories!"

"Ya! That's what they are memories! Nothing more!"

"(Y/N)... You know he didn't mean to..."

"No! Don't go defending him now! You're supposed to be on my side!"

"I am! I am! It's just I think he deserves..."

"Nothing! If anything he should learn from his childhood friend on how to act and be proper! You and Oikawa don't seem to have problems!"

"That's different... Oikawa and I did go through problems at first, but..."

"But you solved it, and he fought! That's the difference, and that is what that Iwaizumi Hajime should have done!"

"Still stuck on that huh?"

"Of course! And I'll always be stuck if things will stay that way! Hmph!"

If it wasn't obvious, Iwaizumi decided to go to Tokyo to follow his volleyball training. It wasn't surprising to you, he did love the sport, and he didn't want to give up on it just yet. Oikawa chose the same of course, he is called a genius in that sport after-all.

However, going to Tokyo wasn't the issue that happened between you two. You were dating for 11 months to a year before he left, so a long distance relationship wasn't a big deal, at some point you did see it coming.

It is what happened next that caused the issues and problems and fights and all the drama that has got you mad and upset just by hearing his name. (F/N) and Oikawa did try talking to you and talking to Iwaizumi, but you didn't really want to be the one to make the first move as you always did in that matter.

So things stayed the same and that had made you angrier and angrier by the day. Your days in college with your new friends and the plans you make are keeping you from locking yourself in the room or exploding on someone.

Your parents are trying to be supportive and help you deal with the issue, but they are also telling you to get it over with and just talk to him. It drives you crazy how almost everyone is taking his side and telling you to take action!
