Chapter 13

Second POV:

The line for the shaved ice was long for some reason. Iwaizumi thought since the fireworks were starting soon, the stalls won't have a lot of customers. Guess he thought wrong.

'I hope we don't miss the fireworks.'

After a few long minutes, Iwaizumi finally got the shaved ice for you and started heading back to where he left you waiting. He knew he took long, but he made sure the stall owner added extra ice and extra juice!

Once he got to you, he saw a scene he never wanted to imagine or even think of. He saw you struggling while another guy was kissing you. He saw the pain on your face and disgust but also fear. But he also saw the smug look on the guys face as he had you under his control.

Iwaizumi's body reacted before he could think of a plan or think of anything. He dropped the dessert from his hand and rushed to you. He grabbed you, pulled you away from the jackass and with his other free hand, he punched him hard enough to knock him down on the ground.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" his voice sounded calm, but anyone could feel the malice that is radiating from him, as he looks at the guy who had his dirty mouth all over yours.

"Hajime!" You realize who came to your rescue! A sense of relief washed over you, but it didn't last long when you saw the look on Iwaizumi's face and the sound of his voice.

"Ow!! What the fu..." The guy tried to retaliate back...

"You have five seconds to get out of my sight before I pummel you to the ground..." He stands above him looking down with the evilest eyes anyone could imagine.

The stranger stood up, dusted himself off and got the message and walked away. He wasn't happy about it, but he knew he couldn't take Iwaizumi down, especially not alone and when he is radiating a murderous aura.

"Hajime... I'm sor..."

"(Y/N)! Are you ok? Did he do anything else? Did he hurt you?" Now that Iwaizumi was next to you and in your reach, you couldn't help but grab him and never let go!

You hugged him tight and hid your face in his chest. Feeling safe in his arms, you let out a breath you didn't know you were holding. "I'm ok, now that you're here."

He wrapped his arms around you tighter and rested his head on your shoulder. "I'm sorry (Y/N), I should have come sooner. Do you want to go home?"

"No! We came together to enjoy the festival and the fireworks. Let's end the night with a sky filled with beautiful colors!"

"As you wish. Sorry about the shaved ice..."

"Don't worry about that! I could think of something else that's sweet I can have." You look up at him, hoping he gets your hint.

"Oh, sure! We will get it after the fireworks, cause they are starting soon." He grabs your hand and starts walking towards a place to watch the fireworks.

'I guess he didn't get the hint.'

The two of you stood under a tree and waited for the fireworks to start. However, you could feel that Iwaizumi wasn't feeling the day and the mood very much anymore. He seemed distracted and somehow hoping for the day to end.

"Hajime, are you ok...?"

"Mmm? Ya, why?"

"You don't seem ok."

"Don't worry about it, let's just enjoy the fireworks." This is not going to be ignored!

"Can you forget about the fireworks for two seconds! I'm here worried about you, cause it is obvious things are not ok. If something is bothering you just tell me, you don't have to hide it!" You make him face you and look at you for once since he has been staring off at the sky.
