Chapter 6

Second POV:

"It's weird for you to ask for this from me (Y/N), did something happen?" (F/N) asks you as you walk down the school halls towards your class.

"Nothing, I just thought it would be interesting." You keep walking not looking at her, hoping she would drop this subject. You can't even remember why you thought of asking her of all people.

"Oooooh! Are you finally getting interested in the sport? *GASP!* Or could it be a person that has gotten you interested?" There we go, that is what you were trying to avoid.

"No (F/N)! It's nothing like that; I just want to try watching a match again. But if you're going to keep nagging me, I won't go." That should shut her up.

"Oh oh Ok! I won't speak about it! Zip! My lips are sealed hehe!" She walks next to you all happy and giggly.

After school, you are planning to go back to Aoba and watch one of their practice matches, as you said, it could be interesting. However, to be honest, after that day you spent with Iwaizumi, you wanted to get closer to him, get to know him better. You didn't know what was causing all these emotions and curiosity to burst out of inside you, and that is what's driving you the most to find out.

Of course, you won't tell (F/N), because she will jump to all sorts of conclusions and theories, that will just give you a headache and more problems and unanswered feelings to deal with.

You get to their school, and you go to stand upstairs like last time to watch the match. Before the team arrived, you kept thinking if Iwaizumi will find it weird that you came to watch... You can't think of a reason he would find it strange but you were still a tiny bit worried. (F/N) can tell that you are nervous. You usually don't get nervous in normal stuff like that, so she will get to the bottom of what is making you feel nervous!

The team shows up and starts stretching, and of course, the first thing (F/N) does is make sure Oikawa knows she is here, oh ya and you as well.

Oikawa looks up towards the both of you, he waves back to (F/N), and when he sees you looking in their direction, everything changes.

He elbows Iwaizumi and says "Hey Iwa-chan! Look it's (Y/N)-chan! She came to watch you play!"

Iwaizumi looks up and notices you. He is surprised at first, but for some reason, seeing you up there, with that small smile of yours, made him happy and almost believe Oikawa.

"Shut up Dumbass! Why would she come just to watch me, I'm not the only one on the team!" He walks away, but the possibility that you might be here just for him made him really happy. He felt light all of a sudden. He doesn't understand why, and he didn't question it much.

During the game, you kept watching everything. Unlike last time, when you were more interested in a fly than the game itself... This time, you could say a specific fly was keeping your interest. Short dark hair and green eye fly...

"Yes!" You let it slip under your breath. Iwaizumi just spiked the ball and scored a point for his side. Nothing was taking your attention away, even the staring of (F/N). Although it would have saved you a lot of future trouble if you realized she was smirking as she was looking back and forth between you and the person of interest.

From time to time, Iwaizumi would sneak a little peak towards you, to see if you were watching him. He couldn't tell why he was so distracted. However, for the first time, he wanted to finish up practice fast and get a chance to talk to you. He had something to tell you, and he feels it would make you happy.

One thing he knew for sure, every time he looked up and saw you smiling... He felt hot on the inside and had the urge to snatch the ball from someone and show you his best side.
