I was watching the girls disappear from the dreamscape, when I heard a laugh from behind me.
"Hello, Nerezza."
"Aaw, come on, why you so glum? Cheer up!" She put her hand on my shoulder, spinning around to face me. I rolled my eyes, turned away.
"Oh, don't you wanna talk to me? I'm gutted! And I was all ready to tell you where I was, too."
"What?"
"Oh, I knew that'd get your attention. I'm prepared to tell you where they can find me. Or, rather, a clue to find me."
"Just why would you do that?"
She began to circle me, her long black dress flowing out behind her. "Why would I do... Oh, you surprise me sometimes. You know fully well why I would do that." She leant in to me, her lips right by my ear, her whispers warm on my cheek. "Because I can play with them, and there's nothing you can do to stop me."
"Like dolls?"
"Just like dolls."
She pulled back, twirling her black hair around her pale finger. "So, if you want to know where to find me, 'Glassburn' is the word." And with that, she walked into a cloud of black smoke and disappeared.
