Walking down the station's front steps, Ana looked at Nam. She had a huge frown on her face, and a tear was welling in the corner of her eye.
"What's wrong? And don't you dare say 'nothing' because tears don't mean nothing!" She looked up, wiping the tear from her eye.
"I'm upset because my first kiss nearly killed me."
"That was your first kiss?" Ana was astounded.
"Duh. Who would go out with a blue-haired freak called Namaka?"
"I wouldn't. Ow!" Fly rubbed her stomach where Ana had elbowed her. "Sorry. Hey, I know how to cheer you up. In fact, it will cheer us all up!" She bolted down the street, pulling her purse from her backpack. She yanked a card out and skidded to a stop in front of an ATM. She slid the card into the slot and punched in her PIN. After pressing a few more buttons, and grabbing what it spat out for her, she ran back up to the others.
"Okay girls," she said, holding up a wad of hundred-dollar notes, "let's go shopping!"

I watched the girls run around to all different shops, buying food and knick-knacks.
"Make sure you can fit everything in your bags," I advised.
'Bags! Of course, we should get new handbags!' That chain of thought sent the girls spiralling into a shopping frenzy. As the sun started setting and the shops started closing, the girls rushed into one last clothing shop.
"Oh my gosh, I just found the perfect outfits for us!" They yanked the clothes off the rack, rushing into the change rooms. When they emerged, Fly grabbed the clothes and ran straight to the counter.
Looking outside, Ari thought how great it would be if they could step out of the shop in their new outfits, showing them off. Just as she thought this, the cashier spoke up.
"Hey girls, since you've already bought these clothes, you can change into them in the change rooms and leave wearing them if you want."
"Thank you!" They cried simultaneously as they ran back to the change rooms.
Five minutes later, the girls opened the doors in style. They wore near-matching outfits, the exception being the colours, and they loved them.
Analaa wore a fake leather jacket over a hot pink shirt, a red mini skirt, black tights, fake leather knee-high boots and a red shoulder bag.
Namaka wore a dark blue jacket over a light blue shirt, a bluey-green mini skirt, black tights, fake leather ankle boots and a bluey-white shoulder bag.
Flidais wore a bark-brown jacket, a light green shirt, an earth-green mini skirt, fishnet stockings, ankle boots and a green and brown shoulder bag.
Arianrhod wore a fluffy light grey, nearly white jacket, a pale purple shirt, a dark purple mini skirt with a purple-and-grey flower pattern, fishnet stockings, knee-high boots and a purple and light-grey shoulder bag.
The girls had also bought satin pyjamas, and were excited to try them. They rushed to the nearest hotel with vacant rooms, and managed to book a four-bedroom room.
They headed upstairs and slid their room card through the lock. They each went into a separate room to change into their pyjamas, in the colour of each girls' element.
Ana, Fly and Ari walked into the living room and flopped on the couch. Just as they turned the tv on, a scream rang out from the bathroom.
