Ari held out her arms. Silver-grey wisps of air began to flow around her limbs. She moved her hands, examining the front, the back, then the thin wisps grew stronger. More and more air surrounded her.

"No. No!" Screamed Nerezza.

"Yes!" Ari's eyes glowed brightly. Pale-purple wisps joined in with the silver, symbolising her psychic power. Bright purple streaks shot through her hair and the air symbol flashed on her arm.

Ari held her hands back, entering the minds of the others. She pulled them from their state. Slowly, they sat up. Then stood.

"Ari! You're-"

"I know." She spun to face them. Her eyes were back to normal. As they looked at each other, the other girls felt a rush. They went to remove their Ringettes. "No," said Ari, "they keep you safe."

"But you-"

"Just don't, okay?"

"Okay." They changed into their Elementor forms and Ari held out her hand. Pure white flew into her hand. It swirled around, shooting straight out to form a brilliant staff. The centre was as clear as the diamond on its end which surrounded the teardrop of fluorite. No matter what angle you looked from, there was always a purple tint to the edges. She put her hand to her head. She was beginning to feel woozy and weak. But Ari stayed with it.

Ari raised her staff high. The others did the same. Nerezza shot darkness at them, but the wind blew it away. Ari flew to her.

"I've mastered my psychic abilities. Well, gotten them under control. I've unlocked my element. Now the only thing left is to whoop your arse!" She flew backwards and up, raising the others after her. Directly below her was Ana. To Ana's left was Nam. To her right was Fly. Four staffs flew high into the sky. Light hit the gems, shining brightly, then it shot out as a rainbow. There was a massive explosion of light, and my eyes flew open. My real eyes. A gasp escaped my lips my real lips. I moved my finger. My real finger.

The light burst, revealing me, hovering midair. Ari smiled.

Then she fell.
