The three girls rushed to the bathroom door, which opened wide, revealing a wide-eyed Namaka. She lifted the plait she put her hair in every night, revealing a light blue streak in her otherwise dark blue hair.
"It must be a result of the transformation," she mused, awestruck.
"Hey Nam, how long have you had a tattoo?" Ana pointed at Nam's bare right-hand shoulder where her sleeve had slipped down. A blue 'tattoo' in the shape of a drop of water was 'drawn' on her shoulder.
"I never got a tattoo, I guess that's from the transformation as well."
"It is," I said, "you'll all get one."
"Well that just take the fun out of it!"

"Okay girls, grab a straw!" Namaka held out four straws of different lengths. "Longest straw gets the queen bed, middle two the single beds, shortest the foldout couch." They pulled the straws from Nam's hand, leaving her with the shortest one. Ari and Fly got the single beds, and Ana almost burnt the curtains with joy when she found out she got the queen.
"Alright, snacks, stories and horror movies tonight I think. My couch is big enough for all of us to cuddle up on, I think." So that night, they cuddled up together on the fold out couch, curled up under a big fuzzy blanket. They told ghost stories and watched horror movies, and there was a lot of averting-of-eyes and holding each other close.
By the end of the night, they were frightened to close their eyes. They all fell into bed, exhausted, and Ari and Fly admitted to being glad they weren't on their own.

I was sitting in my dreamscape when I felt a dark aura pass by me.
"Hello, Nerezza."
"So sorry to hear about your loss. My sincerest apologies."
"Not like you care, you sent that boy to kill her."
"He's very good at his job. She died quickly." I couldn't help but laugh.
"What's so funny? You've lost a girl. I'm one step closer to darkening this world."
"Lost her? For a few minutes maybe! One step closer? More like one step further away!"
"But her heart..."
"The idiot threw her body into a river!"
"You don't mean...?"
"Yes, Nerezza. That's exactly what I mean."
"You're... You're joking with me!"
"You can talk to her if you like. Oh, Namaka! Someone here to see you!" Namaka opened an unseen door, going from her dreamscape into mine. When she saw Nerezza, a smirk spread over her face.
"You're... You're not real! You can't be real." She pulled down the sleeve of her pyjamas, revealing the water drop, and she spun her hair around to reveal the light blue mark.
"You're... You're... You're..."
She smirked again, stepping forward. "I believe the word you're looking for is 'Elementor.'"
