"I hate to see you wasting fire like you are. I'll have to take you out!" Ana threw her hands forward, red fire shooting from her palms. Tamas threw her hand up high, black fire shooting up to block Ana's attack. Nam threw water at her, and it started to extinguish a little of her flame. But she wasn't giving up without a fight.

"Nam, you have to change to your Elementor form!"

"How?" She screamed, gasping for air. "I can't hold her down much longer, and I don't know how to change!"

"Think emotional thoughts!" Suddenly the fire slacked off and Nam took a deep breath. But then...

"Aaaaaah!!!" Ana's scream pierced through the still air. Then she fell to the ground, dark fire swirling around her.

"Ana!" Nam rushed across the street, collapsing at her friend's side. Just then, there was a ringing sound. Fly reached into her pocket, pulling out her ringing phone.

"Oh, for God's sake! What is it, Becky?"

(Where the hell are you!?!? You've been gone for three frickin days!) she screamed back.

"Far out! I told you I can't tell you where I'm going!"

"For Christ's sake Ari, get over here!" Nam was screaming in the background.

(Who the hell is that?)

"My friend Nam. Aah!" Fly sent vines spiralling at Tamas, but the fire just burnt them up. The fire swirled up the vines, burning Fly's hand. She yelped in pain.

(What was that? What's going on?)

"I gotta go, I'll call you later."

(Flidais don't you dare hang up you me! Don't you...) Fly sighed, then stomped hard, making the ground shake.

"God, Fly! Look out!" Nam fell to her side, and as she was getting up, she heard an ear-piercing scream.

"Nam!" She spun around, screaming as she saw dark fire spiralling towards her. She held her hands up in front of her face, unable to do anything but brace for the attack. But, just as it was about to hit her, BAM! She looked up, to see fire spiralling around Ana. Her mask remained in place, but everything was different. Her hair floated around her face, drifting on an imaginary breeze. The same as had been with Namaka, she wore no clothes but instead was clothed in wisps of fire. Her eyes sparkled, and she waved her hand, making a circular motion. Then, she pierced the circle of fire with her hand, and it spread out, forming a staff.

A jet of orange fire was burning back the black.

She turned her head down to face Nam, and it was as if her gaze was enough to change her, because as soon as their eyes linked, Namaka was surrounded by streams of water. Her hair drifted down her back, and she held out her hand as she had before, a jet of water flying up into it. As soon as she touched it, the water solidified into her staff.

"Hey guys," cried Ari, "I wonder what would happen if you two joined your powers!"

The two girls looked at each other. "You ready to be brave?"
