Y/n's POV-

Stupid Tommy. *Slam* Stupid teachers. *Slam* Stupid death. *Slam* Stupid day. *Slam* The final putty crumbles to the ground. I pick up a boulder and throw it against the far cave wall and yell. Chest heaving with heavy breaths.

"Wow."

My head whips around and I spot Trini.

"No, don't let me stop you. You're obviously working something out. I'll be here when you're done and want to talk."

"I don't want to talk."

She nods, "Not right now you don't. You're still getting your thoughts and frustrations out. But once you've worn yourself enough. Your mind might change."

I just roll my eyes and turn around to newly formed putties. I don't want to talk right now. Not today.

Trini's POV-

I laugh to myself as she rolls her eyes and turns her back to me. Something is clearly wrong. She doesn't act like this. After watching her take down putty after putty, I notice her form slipping and her energy finally starting to wear down. Yet, she waits for another set of putties to form and I finally decide to intervene. After a bit, she has one putty left and I slowly make my way behind her. The moment she takes the putty down, she goes to roundhouse kick me, probably thinking I'm another putty. I easily block the blow and knock her leg away throwing her off her balance and causing her to land on her back. She sits up on her elbows and looks at me, "Trini, what the hell?"

"You don't want to talk. You wanna keep fighting. Let's fight. you and I, right now."

She pushes herself to her feet, "I don't want to fight you, Trin."

I just nod then swipe my leg and knock her down again.

Her glare meets me, "Seriously, Trini, I don't want to fight you."

"Just because you're afraid that someone will actually beat you."

"Fine," she pushes herself up again and takes a defensive position.

"If I win, we talk about what's been bothering you today. If not, I'll leave you be and you can go back to the putties."

"Deal."

I nod and we go towards each other. Y/n throws the first punch, which I easily dodge and take the opening and go for a cheap kidney shot. She stumbles back a bit. So, sometimes I get scrappy. Sue me. She's more exhausted than she realizes. It's causing her fighting to be much less of a challenge to face. It's sloppy. I go to land another hit, but she knocks it out of the way and pushes me to the ground and gets on top of me to pin me. We roll around wrestling, trying to pin one another. She ends up on top once again, our hands interlaced with each other's, her trying to force mine to the ground. A shift in her demeanor flashes through her and I look up and see tears in her eyes. She lets go of my hands and place hers on each side of my head. A tear falls and lands on my face. I reach up and cup her face, wiping away the tears that are on her face. She lays her head on my chest as sobs shake through her, "I'm so sorry, Trini. I'm so so sorry. I'm so angry. It's not fair. Why did he have to go?"

I wrap my arms around her, "It's ok, babe. I'm here. Shh, it's ok, I'm here."

Y/n POV-

I finally settled down and told her everything. She still insisted on holding me as I talked and cried. Listening and holding on to every word.

"Thank you for telling me."

I turn to her and give her a soft kiss, "No, thank you. And I'm sorry for everything I put everyone through today. I di-"

Her lips press to mine, silencing me, "Don't apologize. It's ok. Everyone is ok. We were just worried about you."

I go to kiss her again, but I'm interrupted.

"Trini! Y/N," Billy comes in running, "Guys, the city is being invaded! Hurry!"

We head out and suit up. We reach the town and there are aliens everywhere. I take a deep breath and look to my girlfriend, "I've definitely had better days."
