About two hours later and all of us standing in the ruins of a house, the village not looking perfect but mostly still standing. Except this house was in shambles.

Also the voice still wouldn't shut the fuck up.

"I can't believe it," Briar said, hugging her arm and staring at a rock.

Rocks. I was pretty sure one of the Links were going to kick that rock or something. They had not had good experiences with rocks in this village.

"EVIL!" Shouted Blue, picking up a rock and throwing it at a tree.

Briar didn't seem to notice. "Selene...oh, what would our parents say right now?" She rubbed at her temples.

"Link?" Called a small voice.

We all turned towards the owner of the voice.

She was a small, slender girl probably a year younger than us. She was as tall as Red and donned a white dress adorned with pink. She had hair that could almost be considered strawberry blonde and grey eyes. She grinned.

Green blushed slightly and Blue and Red. They all were staring at her.

She must have been...cute. I knew that I should have found her cute, but I...didn't. Vio also had a small blush in his face, but was not looking at her. He seemed to be staring off into the distance, smiling slightly.

Okay, so I think they were into both genders? But weren't Red and Blue a thing?

No, Blue admitted that he had slept with Green, accidentally. He hadn't meant to tell me.

"Hey, Erune!" Green greeted, smiling.

She hugged him and laughed. "It's nice to see you again!"

Green chuckled. "Heh, yeah...um..."

She let go and turned to face the other three, waving at them too before noticing me. "Who's this?"

"I...I'm Shadow."

"You know, we never did tell you our actual names," Vio said, getting Erune's attention away from me. "I'm Vio, that's Green, that's Blue, and that's Red. Take a wild guess about which is which."

She smiled. "You know, you do sound familiar Shadow," she pointed out.

The voice in my head laughed. "She knows! I bet she hates you as much as I do!"

Comments like that made me think that this voice must have been someone that I either made up or was actually speaking to me.

So, who could hate me so much?

Everyone I had harmed, so...most people in Hyrule?

Who did I know that had the power to?

Vaati really hated me. Ganon too.

Well, I achieved nothing, eliminated no options. I was just as confused as before.

Erune smiled and wrapped her arms around me in a hug, definitely taking me off guard. "Green told me about you!"

I didn't know what to do with a little girl crushing my rib cage. "He...has?"

"Yeah! Four weeks ago, he talked to me about what happened after he left, and he brought you up eventually. He made you sound like a jerk at first, and then he moved on to how you helped them save Princess Zelda so you can't be a jerk! It's nice to finally meet you!"

I looked at Green who shrugged and flashed a smile.

And the I returned my attention to Erune, who was still hugging me, but because she was—just barely—taller than me, she just kinda shoved my head into her collarbone and squeezed me tightly. It wasn't that I was that short, it was just that Erune was shoving my head down.

She finally let go of me and smiled, her eyes closed. "I'm glad to have met you too."

"You got lucky."

"You all must be here because of...well, this house you are standing in the remains of," Erune said.

Vio stepped forward. "Erune, do you know anything?"

The girl looked up at Vio for a brief moment. "To be completely honest with you—since after the last time I saw you and you've clearly seen some weird things—I did see people in the forest. I don't know what they looked like, I barely got a glimpse of them but I heard them speaking too. So I know they were there."

"Did the voices...sound familiar at all?" I found myself asking.

Now everyone was staring me and I found myself being my gaze to the ground. "Certain...individuals have a tendency to seem or sound familiar to people, even when they haven't met them, it's hard to explain."

"Well, now that you mention it, one did sound familiar. But I couldn't place it and I can't describe his voice, I'm positive it was a he, though. It wasn't high enough to make me think they were female."

The Link's were still staring at me, Briar too.

I flushed as, one by one, they started to drift towards the edge of the forest, rows and lines of trees that towered over us. Vio stopped by my side.

"Shadow, are you okay?"

"We should...walk."

He nodded and we...walked.

"Are we actually going in there?" Red whined.

"I like it as much as you do, but...we should, it would make sense right?"

And we all stepped into the trees, the village and the house's ruins, disappearing out of sight.
