"How did we get in this hole?" Opia asked, dumbfounded.

I shrugged. "It kinda just appeared out of nowhere. The hole and the Darknut. But I'm pretty sure it was just the one, so we should be fine."

Also, Vio was in the hole too.

Briar, Green, Red, and Blue were looking into Said hole. "You guys still alive?"

"Actually, this hole is pretty deep, we might be in hell," I said.

Briar said something like, "lovely. There should be a grappling hook somewhere."

Green asked, "do you mean a hook shot? How do you know where it is?"

The black haired girl shrugged. "Just do, and there're the same thing."

We couldn't hear their voices after that.

Finally, Vio spoke up.

"They better not be trusting Green to find their way back," Vio said. "Or we'll be stuck here forever."

I snorted.

Opia blinked and gave a weak smile, not understanding the joke.

There was a bit of silence before I said something before that damned voice could.

"What did I miss when I passed out yesterday?" I asked.

Opia giggled nervously. "So sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, I just fired without thinking. Desiderium vanished the moment the arrow hit her."

"But the light severely burned you in a way that didn't show any marks, it was weird," Vio said. "She introduced herself as Opia and then just kinda tagged along."

"I must ask, why did Desiderium attack you?" Opia asked.

"She said she works for Lord Vaati," I said, calling him Lord from habit. Hopefully they didn't notice. I continued, "he has something against us."

"We were looking for a friend when she showed up and then there was a destroyed village we had to check out, she just appeared," Vio said.

"Who's your friend?" Asked Opia.

"Princess Zelda of Hyrule," Vio said. "She went missing and we've been friends since we were children, not to mention we've saved her before. We had to go after her. But we don't know where she could be, or why she took off."

I heard Opia swallow. "I'm certain she's okay, Does....she...know how to take care of herself?"

"Maybe," said Vio.

"Yeah," I said. "She can really put up a fight if she wants to, I think she'll be okay for a while, if she knows what she's doing."

Opia grinned. "Good to hear."

We all went silent before Vio, who was sitting with his legs crossed right next to me, looked at me. "Did the Darknut hit you?" He placed a hand on my shoulder and moved my bangs out of my face with his hand. "I think it got Red's leg, but it was just a small cut."

I blushed at the contact. "It hit my back, but I'm fine. I think it cut through my tunic and I might be bleeding, but it doesn't hurt too much."

"I'll look later, when we aren't in here," Vio said, leaning his head on my shoulder and wrapping an arm around my waist.

I blushed and looked away from him.

Opia looked confused. "Pardon my asking, but are the two of you...together? In a relationship? A romantic one?"

Vio started rubbing circles on my hip and t the same time we both said "no".

She looked even more confused. "Okay then."

Vio's hand started to drift up before pulling my cheek, turning my head, and kissing my mouth.

I fell backwards and leaned against the wall, hitting my head on something.

Opia was now very interested in her fingernails.

"You guys, we found it!" A chipper voice shouted, one that could only belong to Red.

Briar said, "just throw it to them, we can't really use it since we're not in the hole."

I'm pretty sure we heard Briar trip and I saw her dark hair fall down the edge of the hole. A crimson petal floated down...and landed into Opia's eye, that seemed like a different color for a minute before it changed back to its pink color. I didn't process the shade it was quick enough.

"So....you're going to fall down and hand it to them?" Green asked.

I'm almost one hundred percent certain that when Briar stood up, she punched Green and that was why she was laughing when the grappling hook fell down and I just barely caught it.

"How do you use this thing?" I asked. I looked at Vio, as if he had the answers to everything.

"I could probably figure it out?" He made it seem more like a question than a statement or anything.

"I know how to use it," said Opia. I handed it to her, and she started fiddling with it before all of a sudden the hook thingie shot out of the hole and grabbed onto something, someone shouted something as if they had been hit.

We stared at Opia, who giggled nervously. "One of these days I'm going to kill someone."

I didn't realize that was foreshadowing.
