I woke up on a hard, cold, stone floor.

I was laying on my back, there was no one in sight and I had control over myself.

I didn't have any hecking clue what had happened, but after looking around, I did realize that I was now actually in the Fire Temple.

I decided after a minute, to chalk up what I thought wasn't a dream to a dream, but that only continued to disgust me because if it was a dream than I slept really  well. I didn't feel sore or tired, and after a minute, I noticed that I wasn't even scared out of my mind after watching my love get cut open.

I should have been able to do something, I should have had control, why did that even happen?

I slowly got to my feet. There wasn't a single noise, I didn't see so much as a mouse, and the dead silence put me on edge.

"Hello?"

My voice echoed in the halls and there was no response, no sign of life.

"...faint and twisted echo..."

I swallowed the lump in my throat and started walking, where I wasn't sure, most likely to find some exit.

"What was with that ringing?" I thought aloud. "Knocked us out cold."

Where are they?

I felt oddly cold in the Fire Temple, and I could only assume it was because of all of the memories. Most of which, if in any other place, would probably make me feel hot and bothered instead of cold and miserable.

I kept walking until I found something glistening on the ground. I knelt down to pick it up but my hand froze in the air before my fingers curled around it.

It was a dirk covered in blood.

Instantly, I remembered my Vio, covered in blood, I recalled the sound of tearing fabric and ripped skin, and the dull thud as my violet died on the floor.

I gulped and picked it up.

It's just a knife...I sighed and pocketed it since I had no other weapon. I'd just make sure no one did so much as touch my Vio. And then I realized I wasn't alone.

I was standing in a hallway, I didn't see anyone over my shoulder or in front of me, but someone had to be nearby. I noticed a door. I tried to open but it wouldn't budge.

Maybe I can get it to open from the inside? There's gotta be something...someone in there

"Hello? Is somebody in there? Is anybody anywhere nearby? Vio?"

I didn't get a response. I pressed my ear to the door and very faintly heard breathing.

"Someone! Anyone! Are any of you guys here?"

I kept walking. "I don't want to be alone." I crossed my arms and glanced around before reaching the end of the hallway. There was another door, that opened. I took a deep breath and exited the hallway, the door slamming shut behind me.

And then a mother hugging spider fell from the ceiling.

But no, no, friends, not just a spider, I mean like a spider the size of a bear, and all I had to defend myself was a dinky little dagger that honestly probably give me so much as a cut.

"Oh, shoot, no, curse you, you darn arachnid, get the heck away from me, just like...stay, right there, no, no. Don't."

That was kind of the point in which the spider focused on me and started getting closer.

"No, can you not? Go away!"

I tried to come up with a battle strategy, but all I could think about was how its eyes were probably a weak point, but it had eight and they were way too small, I'd never be able to hit them. So, I just ran around the room in circles. And then I got caught in a web.

"How? How the heck? these weren't here two minutes ago."

As much as I hated to admit it, spiders scared the hell out of me. But I could stomp on a small black bug if I need to, but no, this was a thousand times bigger and was probably not going to be taken down by a five foot one inch goth with a pocket knife.

And then I heard footsteps.

But I was a bit distracted because of the spider getting closer to me, it was too close for my liking, it could be miles and miles away and it would be too close.

I managed to get my knife out and hacked the web off of my arm, but was still fighting off the panic attack that you'd assume a teenager would get when faced with an effing eight-foot spider.

And then I was aware that someone on the other side of the door was trying to get in.

"I swear to the goddesses, if you're an enemy or something, I will kill you so hard," I shouted.

"That's either Shadow or Blue," I heard them mutter but before I could process who was there, I think they managed to kick the door down.

And there stood everyone's favorite blonde archer, rescuing me from a giant spider.
