We gave a brief description to Era about what we were doing there, mostly just being that Vio was injured, we stopped what we were doing and then when he started being somewhat stable, we ended up in some stupid place with blood soaked grass. Actually Zelda was the one who told her, the two seemed to really enjoy talking with each other, possibly because Zelda was stuck with four idiots and Vio--she could either stare awkwardly at my precious blond who was too invested in his book to spare a glance at anyone--except sometimes, occasionally me!--or hold a not-even-slightly-intelligent-conversation with either me, Blue, Red, or Green. I kinda enjoyed our conversations together, but if she didn't, I understood why.

I had another migraine.

"Have a head ache, babe?" Vio asked me softly. I realized I liked being called babe, so long as it was by him. He cupped my cheek.

"My entire life is a living hell," I responded. It felt like we had all been moving nonstop, even though I kept passing out a lot.

"Yeah?" He kissed my forehead and hummed in thought. "I guess it has been extremely unbearable for all of us, huh?" I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and shoved my face into his left shoulder.

He smelled good.

"I love you." His hand fell to my waist and then he clasped my hand tightly and lovingly. "I love you. So much."

"Vio?"

He pulled me a bit closer. I glanced at him and we locked eyes.

He was covered in blood, his skin looked paler, but I don't think he had ever been more attracted to him. If only he  hadn't been crying and begging me to not kill the other three heroes.

"I'll do whatever you want, just don't let any harm come to those three."

His hair was matted with blood, it had dried into his yellow tresses. I grabbed a strand and twirled it around my fingers, loving the conflicted expression on his gorgeous face. "Mm...you need a bath, Vio..." He shivered slightly while I stroked his cheek, letting go of his hair, but a part of me wanted to pull his hair, pull him closer. "I can murder those three and you'll still do what I want."

His eyes widened, and I expected him to say something along the lines of "you have lost your mind," like he had been saying a lot, but instead, he just choked out, "Shadow, please."

I sighed, but I felt irritated. What was so great about them? Did he care about them more than me?  If I slowly and painfully killed them one by one in front of him so I could watch them all scream and beg me for mercy, would he forgive me in the end because I loved him and he loved me back? I decided that'd be too cruel--he was still a hero, I supposed. Of course he wouldn't want me to hurt anyone--the three probably meant nothing to him and he was just too nice to let me kill them, but I knew my anger wouldn't fade until I heard him say that.

Couples are supposed to talk about these things and come to an agreement, I reminded myself.

"I feel like you care more about those three than you do about me," I said honestly. It would have been easy to pull out the dirk and stroke his jugular with it, and tell him I could kill him if I wanted to and unless he was trying to provoke me into killing him, he better shut his mouth. But no..."Tell you what," I said slowly. "I'll let one of them live. And you get to choose which ones die!"

I thought he'd like the idea. I thought he'd be happy he had such a merciful lover, I thought he'd pick one of them, I kill the others, and he would rest easy knowing at least one of them was safe.

"What?" He asked in disbelief.

"Yes, that's what we're gonna do!" I felt happy because now Vio could be a bit happier, he was happier now, wasn't he? Then I remembered how little Vaati liked Vio even being alive. "Oh, but it's gonna be difficult with Lord Vaati, he's going to be outraged; it's nothing short of a miracle he's letting me keep you. Anyways, Vio, which one do you want to live?"
