I sit down on my bed, and hold onto his shirt. He has to live! He has to! Father said that Damon was injured in the war. He said he was shot, and is on the verge of death.
Stefan walks in, and I try to conceal my tears. "He'll be okay." He says, sitting on the bed next to me. "What if he isn't?" I ask. "He has to." He says.
My eyes slowly open, and I look around me without moving. I see the board of my bed, then go to roll over. My joints pop, and I groan from the stiffness of sleeping on the floor. I slowly stand up, and walk to the bathroom. I look in the mirror, and see my eyes are red and puffy. I groan, then grab a towel and jump in the shower.
I get out and dressed, but see my eyes still look I've stabbed them repeatedly. I groan, then grab my phone and keys.
I walk into the grill, and sit down. Matt walks up to me, but looks at me worriedly. "Are you Okay?!" He asks. "I cried myself to sleep last night." I state calmly. "Now I'm even more worried. I shouldn't do this, but oh well." He says, then sits in the booth ahead of me. I look at him, and smile for real.
"What happened?" He asks. "I'm sorry, but I don't know you very well." I say sarcastically. "Come on. Just tell me." He says. "You tell me about yourself first." I say complicatedly. "This conversation will take awhile. My shift ends in thirty minutes. Then we'll go back to my place." He says.
"Matt Donavon, are you inviting me to your house?" I ask fake accusingly. "Oh hush. Just stay here. I'll get you a coke and a burger. You just chill here. Then we'll go." He says. I smile, while surprisingly and unfortunately blushing, and nod.
What is this boy doing to me?! He's making me smile?! HES MAKING ME BLUSH?! What is going on?!
The worst part: I'm not sure if I like it or not.
