I lean on the cart, and Beth smiles. "List again." I say, looking ahead of us. "We need: eggs, milk, Sprite, Coke, chocolate chips, matches, Cheetos, chicken, potatoes, and cheese." She says, and I nod. "Aight. Let's get our junk then get home. I'm starving." I exclaim, and she giggles, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Your to bubbly." I say, and she playfully rolls her eyes. "My apologies, Jen. Shall I be more proper instead of joyful?" She asks, causing me to stop dead in my tracks. I gasp and place my hand over my heart. "What is it? Are you okay?" She asks. "You used sarcasm!" I say, and relief floods her eyes. "Jen, you can't scare me like that!" She says, then playfully hits my arm. "I've trained you well!" I say, and she shakes her head smiling.

We get to the house, and walk straight to the kitchen. "Alright, you put these up, I'm gonna go take a bath." I offer, and she smiles then nods. I nod, then turn around and walk upstairs.

I get to my bathroom, and start the water. I then light some candles, and put some bath stuff in the water. I then turn it off when it fills, and take my clothes off. I leave my hair in the loose bun, and step in. I sink into the water to just at my neck, and sigh. It's nice to take a load off when your a 178 year old vampire- I mean human.

It's been two days since Valerie told me I'm now human, and it's still hard to believe. My mind comes up with all these bad things, but my heart tells me all the good things. I get to grow old with Matt. I get to watch my daughters grow up. I don't know how things will work out with Damon and Stefan, but part of me says it will all be okay.

I get out of the tub, and wrap a towel around myself. Something in my stomach drops, and I hear nothing. The feeling in my stomach worsens, and I realize I haven't heard from Beth in a while. "Beth?" I call out. She should here me even from downstairs. I get no reply, so I walk down the stairs. I see the groceries still on the counter, so I run to the kitchen. "Beth?!" I call out, but see her no where. "Beth?!" I scream again, yet come with the same silence.

I open the front door, and see the trunk still open, with bags of groceries still in the car. I walk outside, and notice there the bags Beth carried in. I then remember I'm still in a towel, so I walk back in. I sit down on the couch, and dig my fingers into my hair. She was never here. It was another lie. I really have gone crazy.
