Meeting Him

Lilly's POV:

  I was finally done with high school and I was finally able to go to college. I got accepted into Seoul University which is one of the highest colleges. Yes, I guess you could say I'm smart. At my high school I was the student with the highest GPA. In every single report card I got from elementary school until my last report card from high school, I had all A's in every single class.

Today I was getting ready to look for apartments. I didn't really want to dorm at the university because I didn't really like having roommates. I have and older brother and it's just been me and him. My parents were business people and they went to America but when they came back there plane crashed and there were no survivors left. Since then it was just me and my brother who's name is Mark Tuan. He's always been a protective brother but after our parents death he's been more protective of me. Whenever I would go out with friends he would call me like every 5 minutes to make sure I was ok. But I think it's sweet that he's like that. He's already done with college and has a job that pays good money but not that much for him to be rich.

He wanted to come with me today but I told him it would just be a few hours and that I would call him to let know that I'm fine. After talking to him for a while I had finally convinced him to stay home.

  After getting dressed and getting my phone and wallet and everything else that I needed, I said bye to my brother and left the house. I got in my car and started driving to the apartments that I had been looking through and thought that would be good for me. I tried to look for something cheap but decent as well.

  Once I had reached the apartments there was this lady that had agreed to show me around the apartments. Before I got out my car I quickly sent Mark a text saying that I arrived and that I'll text him again when I'm about to head home. I got out my car and had walked over to the lady who had introduced herself when she saw me. "Hello! You must be Lilly? "Yes that's me." "Ok Lilly, my name is Karol and I will be helping you look through the apartments." "Hi Karol and thank you so much." "If you don't mind me asking is there a reason your looking for apartments around this area?" "Oh well I'm attending Seoul University and I live far so I wanted to be closer to it." "Oh well you must be one smart girl." "Thank you."

   "Is there something your looking in particular?" She asked me. "Well I wanted something cheap but also decent." "Oh well then I have the perfect apartment for you! It's a three bedroom. Two main bedrooms and one guest bedroom. There's two baths and a kitchen and a living room. But the thing is you'll have a roommate and you guys will be splitting the rent. Is having a roommate fine with you?" I thought for a second. The reason I wanted a apartment was to not have a roommate. But then spitting the rent would be a lot of help. Maybe we would just ignore each other? Or maybe having a roommate is actually fun? Maybe we would get along really well? Maybe we would have movie nights and do our nails or something. I guess giving it a try wouldn't hurt. "Yeah that's totally fine." "Ok good. Would you like to take a look at the apartment?" "Yes please."

  We went to the apartment and I really liked it. There was a lot of room and the kitchen had a lot of space. I agreed to having the apartment with the roommate and she said they will be there the same day I would. After we had done some paperwork and stuff I had said goodbye to her and got in my car. Then I had texted Mark to let him know that I was leaving.

Lilly💞:Hey Mark. I'm just leaving right now.
Mark💙:Ok. So did you find one?
Lilly💞:Yeah I did but I'm having a roommate Mark💙: I thought the whole point of getting an apartment was so you wouldn't have to dorm with someone.
Lilly💞: Yeah I know but we'll be splitting the rent so I thought that would be helpful. And I thought about it and maybe it would be fun to have a roommate. We could do our nails and other stuff.
Mark💙: Well if that's what you want then ok. See you in a little bit little sis. Love you❤️
Lilly💞: Ok see you in a little bit big bro. Love you too❤️
