Mark's POV:
After we said bye to Jin we went to my car and we started driving home. I noticed Lilly was quieter than usual and I was a little worried. "Hey, are you ok? Your quieter than usual. Are you still not feeling well?" I heard her let out a sigh. I wonder if she doesn't miss me anymore. What if she doesn't want to come back home with me? What if she would rather go with Jin? But she'll see him tomorrow so she should be fine, right? They are just friends anyway, at least that's what I think.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just a little sleepy I guess." "You guess? Come on I've been your brother for all these years, I know when your lying. You know you could tell me anything, right? If something's bothering you just let me know." "Yeah I know but, it's just I want to figure it out myself. You've always helped me with my problems and now I'm already going to college so I want to figure this one out myself." "Ok, but just remember I'll be here whenever you need me." "Thanks Mark."
We reached the house and I was gonna go to Lilly's room to set up her bed when she called me. "Hey Mark, is it ok if I sleep with you tonight? I've missed you a lot." "No problem little sis." I replied smiling. "So are you hungry? I could make something for us." Once I said that her faces brightened up for some reason. "Is it ok if I make dinner? Jin showed me how to make a new dish and it's really good! Turns out both me and Jin like to cook." "Yeah sure." I said and walked to the couch and laid down while Lilly went to the kitchen and started to make dinner.
It's been about an hour and Lilly still hasn't called me for dinner. It was already about to be 7:00 but it was weird because I haven't really heard anything from the kitchen. I turned the TV off and went to the kitchen to check up on Lilly. When I walked into the kitchen she must have heard me because she turned her head to me and quickly covered my eyes. "Hey! What are you doing here! Your not supposed to see! Go back to the living room!" She yelled pushing me out of the kitchen. "Are you ok? Do you need any help? Why did I even let you make dinner? I should be making dinner not you. Your the one who just got out of the hospital." "Yeah well I was in a bed for about a week and you've been working so hard that you've been coming home late so go to sleep or something while you wait." She argued back. She did have a good point so I plopped myself back on the couch and closed my eyes to go to sleep.
I woke up from hearing my stomach rumbling, like a lot. I don't think I've ever been this hungry before. I checked the time and it was already 8:15!?!?!? "Lilly! You've been making dinner for about 2 hours and your still not done yet! Can you hurry up I'm starving! If I don't eat soon I might die!" I said sarcastically. Then I saw her walked to the dining table with a bunch of plates. "Aish, your like the rest of Jin's friends. Can you please stop whining? Dinners been done I just needed you to be hungry or else I would've just made dinner for nothing." "So it was ready this whole time?!" "Yup. Now get your butt over here so you could stop whining."
I got up from the couch and once the dining table was in sight my mouth dropped. "You made all this by yourself!?!?!?! Why didn't you ask me to help you?!?!?!" "Like I said, I've been laying in a bed for a week doing nothing and you've been working late at night. Plus, I missed cooking. And because you probably missed my cooking." A smile crept up my face knowing she was right. I always loved her cooking and now that she's not here I either get something or I make dinner for myself and let's just say I'm not as good as a cook like Lilly is.
I sat on a chair and looked at the row of plates that were filled with food on the table.
