A New Beginning

Lilly's POV:

I woke up to the feeling of being embraced by a strong pair of arms. I opened my eyes to see Jin sleeping peacefully. I quietly got out of his embrace without waking him up and hopped into the shower. It felt nice and refreshing but I still felt to lazy to go to school. I wish it would just end already.

  After a quick shower I walked back into my room but noticed Jin wasn't in my bed anymore. "Good morning beautiful." I felt the same pair of arms wrap around me from behind and felt a kiss on my cheek. "Good morning." I smiled. "I already grabbed some clothes for you," he said, pointing to the bed. "when you're ready come out for breakfast. Jimin will be here soon to take you." he gave me one last kiss, this time on the lips and left. I put on the clothes he had chosen out for me and did my hair into a french braid, applying some light makeup. I grabbed my bag and when I walked into the living room the sweet smell of pancakes filled my nose. I placed my bag on the couch and walked into the kitchen. "It smells so good~" I said, wrapping my arms from behind him. He lightly laughed and told me to go sit at the table. I followed his orders and once I sat down he brought out the plates of pancakes, and two glasses which looked like contained strawberry smoothies. We started to dig in after I had thanked him. Once I was done I was about to take my plate but Jin grabbed it before I could. "I can take care of this, go on. Jimin just texted me saying he's here." "Oh okay, thanks for breakfast, I love you!" I gave him a kiss before grabbing my bag and running out the door, hearing him yell out an 'I love you' back.

~Time Skip~

  We arrived at school and Jimin walked me to class. He was happy to see me and of course I was happy to see him too, but I could tell he looked a bit sad. I knew exactly why, and I hated it. I felt so bad for what I did to him. But I'm just glad  he seems to be doing better than before. Like usual I went to my classes, did boring school work and what not, but once I saw Woozi my day got better. I told him everything that happened and he was as shocked as I was when it happened. I was glad to have a friend like him. He supported me with whatever decision I made, and he was very supportive. I don't know what I'd do without him.

  School finally ended, which was surprising. The day was boring but it went by quicker than usual. I started walking to the parking lot where Jin usually waits for me when I heard someone call out my name. "Oh, Jimin. What happened?" I said, turning around and seeing Jimin coming towards me. "I don't know if you got my text or not, but Jin said he was busy with something? So he asked if I could take you home too." "Oh my god I'm sorry." I said checking my phone. "No worries." He smiled. We walked over to his car and he opened the door for me to get in. Once he got in, he started the car and headed to the apartment. "So what do you plan to do for Christmas break?" "Hm?" I gave him a questioning look, not thinking about what he said. "Christmas break silly. Are you going anywhere for your birthday?" He said again. "Oh my god I totally forgot! This is our last week! Oh god I need to go get Jin a present. I didn't even play anything yet! What should I do for him? What if I don't plan it on time." "Lilly calm down, it's okay. Me and the guys are here to help you out. So try not to stress about it, okay? Everything is gonna go great." He gave me a reassuring smile which calmed me down a bit. "I can't believe you forgot about your own birthday." He laughed.

  "Haha. Very funny." I said sarcastically. "It's not my fault these past few days have been hectic. I didn't even remember Jin's birthday. I feel bad now." "Aw Lilly it's not your fault, so don't feel bad. Like I said, me and the guys are here to help you out." "Thanks Jimin." "So, what do you want for your birthday?" "Uh..." I started to think, and realized I haven't gave it much thought on what I wanted, but then at the same time if I say I want nothing I'll probably think of something after my birthday and hate myself for life. "I don't know?" I dumbly answered. "You forgot your birthday and now you don't know what you want? Come on Lilly!" he laughed. "Okay okay sorry, but I guess I've just been thankful with the stuff I have now, and the people in my life. Mark, Jin, you, the guys, Woozi, even Mark's friends. You guys have been so kind and nice to me. I thought it would've been hard without my parents, but Mark did his best to take care of me. You guys helped out a lot too. If I hadn't met Jin, I wouldn't have met you guys, then I would have been this lonely, depressed girl throughout my college years. Yes, some... stuff has happened but thats the past now." I slightly smiled. There was a small moment of silence until-"You're gonna make me cry!!" Jimin whined like a baby, making me laugh.
