Odette carries a cup of tea and stops walking to take a sip only to hear a door slam shut and Niklaus angrily speaking to Sophie Devereaux. To listen closer Odette walks towards the living room, "We had a deal! You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's army. And whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Odette to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches"

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear" Sophie frantically says from her seat having been vampsped into the seat by Niklaus. Sophie then looks from Niklaus who was sitting on the couch across from her to Odette who went to sit next to him, "Odette and I are linked, remember? She dies, I die."

At the witch's frantic state Odette couldn't help but roll her eyes knowing that she was afraid of Niklaus. Odette was confident that he wouldn't physically harm Sophie as it would harm her but that still didn't mean she was going to get away with what had happened out in the woods last night.

"Then who were they?" Rebekah asks sitting on the couch arm next to Odette

"They are a faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby" Sophie explains which clarifies things for Odette, the vision must have been what Sabin had seen when she was finding out the baby's gender and had gone into a hypnotic state

"What kind of vision?" Niklaus asks with suspison as to what the witch could have seen to want to kill his unborn child

"She has them all the time," Sophie says with a sigh as if they should just ignore Sabine's vision "They are totally open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one."

"Well, how, may I ask, was this particular vision interpreted?" Niklaus asks as he leans towards the table as to show that he was listening, instead of leaning back into the couch like how Odette was doing on her spot on the couch, listening closely to the conversation and slowly drink her tea

"...Pretty much that your baby would bring death to all witches" Sophie says not being able to look at the parents making Odette tilt her head feeling a tad proud for her unborn child but also had many questions

"Ah, well. I grow fonder of this child by the second" Niklaus states with a smirk which makes Odette chuckle glad to have an update on how he felt about their kid

"Sophie, look--" Rebekah says in a kind voice standing up to take a seat on the couch next to Odette making her move closer to Niklaus "I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle-baby whilst he tries to win your witch Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell me just how extreme this faction is?"

Taken back by the young witch's name Sophie ignored the question and asks, "Elijah's talking to Davina?"

"Yeah. As we speak, I imagine" Rebekah says nonchalantly but Odette was able to read Sophie's facial expression as the news of Davina for Sophie meant a lot and most of it wasn't anything good

"I'm guessing she'll have plenty to say about that crowd," Sophie says nodding her head thinking back to how the crowd that wanted to harm Odette had wronged Davina

"Do tell," Niklaus says as he leans back on the couch stretching out his left arm to rest on the couch behind Odette

"I... wasn't always an advocate for the witches," Sophie skeptically starting her story

She went on to tell the room about her days when she was dancing to music behind the bar as the crowd cheers. Which made Odette reminisce to the nights when Hayley and Odette would be dancing on the bar counter. Sophie told everyone about her family, her sister who was devoted just like their parents making their upbringing to be very strict which drove Sophie nuts. Once she turned twenty-one she left the Quarter to travel and play but since her dream was to be a chef she returned to Rousseau's.
