"So," I say. "Summer's just getting started now, what do we do first?" I'm still being held above ground by strong arms, Tobias' arms. He blindfolded me and took me to the Ferris wheel as a surprise. Looking back, it was very clever, and probably amusing to him. But it sure was scary for me.
"Hm." I think about it for a moment before a great idea pops into my head. "We could throw a party?" I suggest.
He grins at me in reply, and runs to the car. I follow him at the same pace before we drive off to get everything we need.
<>
We have been shopping for a few hours, and still have a lot of things to get. So far we have the food and a few decorations, we still need some other essential items.
"I still think we need more stuff." I say to Tobias. Our cart has several rolls of colorful streamers, a couple of piñatas, banners, bowls, and many other random objects. He rolls his eyes at me.
"Well call Uriah, he'll know what to get." I grin at him while taking my phone out and dialing his number.
"Hey, Uriah, can you do something for me?" I wait for his response. When I hear it, my grin widens. "Great."
<>
We arrive at Uriah and Zeke's house, an angular black building, and are immediately greeted by their mom. I open my mouth to speak, but Tobias steps in. He's clearly experienced with this, so I let him.
"Hi Mrs. Pedrad. How are you?"
"Good, you?"
"Great. We were just looking for Uriah and Zeke, if they're home."
she yells their names, and after a lot if noise, they're at the door.
"Hey Four, Tris." Zeke nods at us and Uriah laughs and hands us a big bag of supplies, for the party, I'm guessing.
"We are invited, right?" Uriah asks.
"Of course," I reply. "You can come help set up now if you want." I smile as they rush out the door, giving their mom a small hug.
"See you later, Mom!" Zeke yells and waves. "Let's go trash your place!" Uriah and Zeke yell in unison." We all laugh and I start up the car. This will be one of the best nights of our lives, I can tell.
<>
"What should we play now?!" I yell over the blazing music of Tove Lo's 'Habits.' So far the party is going great. Zeke has already passed out, and Christina can't even talk at this point.
"Truth or dare! Truth or dare!" Uriah chants.
"Ok!" I yell back, spilling a bit of the drink in my hand onto Will. We gather in a circle and begin the game. Ashton and Luke show up just as we start, and of course join in. "Will! truth or dare?!"
"Truth..." He replies. Uriah coughs and mutters 'Pansycake.'
"What's in your fear landscape? Remember the rules if you don't answer..." I trail off. He takes off his shirt quickly after I say that, causing everyone to laugh as his face turns pink.
"Ok, hm." Will looks at everyone in our circle before landing on Al. "Truth or dare, Albert."
Beads of sweat start to form on his forehead. "Dare."
"Alright. I dare you to dive off the Hellend Cliff into the water."
Al starts shaking before he gets up and walks outside. he looks out towards the cliff. "I'll do it." He says confidently. "I'll do it."
He jogs towards the tall cliff, and everyone follows. He takes off his shirt and backs up one we get there. He runs, and then jumps. We all look down towards the water to see Al falling. He really did it. He's just about to hit the water perfectly when he hits a jagged rock. His body goes limp and we all gasp. Al is dead. He's really gone.
