I shot him. He was going to kill me, and I had to act fast. My original plan was to talk things out, see why he did what he did, and see where things went from there. But clearly things didn't go that way. It was definitely not my intention to kill him.
Tears slip from my eyes, dropping onto Will's limp body in my arms. He was like a brother to me, and this loss pains me like any other would. I have to keep this from everyone. Nobody can find out. Because if they do, I could lose everything.

I end up getting home late the next day. I didn't realize how long it had been since I talked to Tobias, and he would probably be angry at me. Over the past 48 hours, I just thought about everything that is changing so rapidly. Al and Will are dead. My parents still haven't come back for me. And the worst part is, I have no idea what will be thrown at me next.
I ate at a local diner recently, where I realized I had to set things straight with Tobias, tell him what I've done.
Just then, the door opens, and Tobias walks through with an angry look painted on his face. He starts to yell and ask questions.
"Where have you been!" He yells.
"I-" he cuts me off.
"I was worried sick, Tris! I thought somebody kidnapped you!"
"Toby, plea-" he cuts me off again.
"Tris, don't. I can't keep having you disappear, especially if you don't trust me enough to tell me where you've been." Tears stream down my face, a feeling I've gotten used to over the past few days, and I try to speak. Sadly, no sound comes out. "If this happens anymore, we can't continue together." He gives me a sad look, before walking away.

I wake up, and decide to go to Ashton's house. I throw on some comfy leggings, and an old white sweatshirt on top. My hair is tied back into a messy bun, and I have my gray uggs on. Just a normal morning outfit, that I'm sure Ashton and the boys will understand. I ring the doorbell, and Michael answers, x-box controller in hand. He silently opens the door further, giving me the okay to come in. What I see surprises me.
