By the time Elka arrived at Hanks home, it was already dark. Being an android didn't give many friendly options, especially in transport.

She wasn't surprised that the lights were still on, it was the broken window that caught her attention. Elka slipped her gun into one hand, a key in the other. She unlocked the front door, holding the weapon in front of her as she opened it.

Moving into the living room, Elka found a gun on the ground and broken glass from the window. She spotted thirium, blue blood, on a shard. She checked the barrel of the gun, before placing it on the table, next to a picture of Cole. She quickly looked away from the photo, moving into the next room. She didn't find any trace of Hank in his bedroom, as messy as it always was.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

Elka turned on her heel, shooting into the bathroom. The bullet embedded itself in the wall, by Connors' head. Her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened as she realized what she'd shot at. The android spun around, noticing the horror on her face. Her eyes shifted to Hank, seated in the bathtub behind him and she let go of the gun in her hand.

"I'm sorry, Connor," She muttered, plastic heart racing.

"It alright, I understand you thought I was hostile."

"No it's not alright," Elka told him, her voice more steady. "Is he sober?"

"For the most part."

"Good, he was one shot away from winning Russian Roulette."

Connor had picked out clothes for Hank, as Elka did not bother mentioning that she knew more about the lieutenant. Hank would have to put up with the stripy shirt and jeans.

"Why are you here, Elka?"

"Hank left his phone at work."

"How did you get inside?"

"I have a key."

Connor refrained from asking more questions, her short answers enough of a hint to leave her alone. He did, however, continue to watch over her shoulder as she wrote on a square sticky note.

'1 round of Russian Roulette = 1 liter of blue blood'

Elka pressed the paper to the bathroom mirror, alongside several others.

"Why would Lieutenant Anderson need Thirium?" Connor asked.

"It's punishment for playing with a gun. Hank hates buying things for androids, let alone people seeing him do it."

Elka turned around, caught off guard by his close proximity.

"I also, I get shot a lot." She muttered.

She observed the beautiful brown of his eyes, which flicked between both of hers. His lips quirked up in a half smile, but she was still lost in the calm of his expression. Then all at once, her heart sped back to its normal beat, her fingers lost their tight grip on the vanity and she broke out of her daze.

Without a word, she brushed past Connor and exited the bathroom.

Connor watched her leave, head tilted curiously.
