"You want to infiltrate the Cyberlife tower? Connor, that's suicide..."

It took everything she had, all her willpower not to open her eyes when she heard Markus speak. "They trust me," Connor stated, voice full of determination. "They'll let me in. If anyone has a chance of infiltrating Cyberlife, it's me."

"- If you go there, they will kill you." Markus took another step towards the new deviant.

"There's a high probability... but statistically speaking, there's always a chance for unlikely events to take place."

-

Elka pulled her hair from its tight braid, letting it spill over her shoulders. She held the knife underneath the left section, pulling away from her face. It cut cleanly and she moved onto the right. She shook her head quickly, any loose hair falling away. She wished her model had been given the function of changing her hair colour, but she was already out of luck.

She left the deviant refuge, walking fast. Her shoulders were slumped as she did everything she could to seem human. The building towered over her and a wave of anxiety overcame her. Her hair sat upon her shoulders, pulled back while she checked behind her. Elka stepped into the elevator, taking a deep breath as it began to move.

When the doors opened, she was quick to step out. She clenched her hands into fists, staring out at the rows of androids. Elka approached the android closest to her and whispered a quiet apology. She moved on, eyes sad. She reached out, grasping the hand of an android.

A blur of movement caught her eye and she turned away from the android. A familiar model stood in front of her.

"Connor?"

-

Connor straightened his tie, eyes on the hacked camera. The doors before him opened. Connor stepped over the body of a guard to leave the elevator. He looked over the mass of androids with indifference. He walked towards them slowly, glancing around the room out of habit. He grabbed the hand of an android, ready to bring it to life.

"Step back, Connor!"

Elka's eyes met his and he froze. Another of his model held a gun to her head.

"This android's life is in your hands."

"Elka." He murmured.

She tilted her head with a sad smile. "It's just like Markus said. Suicide." Elka told him. "I didn't want it to be you."

Connor's eyes were wide, but he couldn't look away. Her brown orbs were dull and in her hands, she held her LED. "Your hair looks nice," He tried.

Elka grinned and flashed her teeth, causing the deviant across from her to smile. Connor breathed in sharply, moving away from the android. "Fine! You win," He said firmly. "Now just give her to me."

Elka's smile fell quickly as the android beside her turned his gun to Connor. She grasped his arm, struggling to aim the gun away. She managed to turn the gun albeit only for a second, driving a bullet through his leg. He knelt in front of her, aiming the weapon towards her.

Connor rammed into his twin as a bullet pierced Elka's shoulder. She cursed loudly, reaching for her neck. She dragged two fingers down her neck, sighing as her pain vanished.

She picked the gun up from the ground, aiming carefully.

Elka took a deep breath.

And pulled the trigger.

The RK800 rose from the ground, staring blankly at Elka.

The deviant lifted her head, wearing a mask of confidence.

But a seed of doubt had begun to grow inside her.

How could one android end the revolution?
